thank you for pointing out the fact that there's signs of no-interest (i.e. EDIT actually You Don't Exist Yet gaze) because I really wasn't wanting to "deal with" the situation. So I avoided them completely by looking down. Now I know that it is a sign of no-interest. I will not do that next time. it helps to know that there's signs of interest but also signs of non-interest.

I'm 58 years old and I have no problem approaching women at least I don't think I do and I've spp to coached many. Many females since I was14 years old and I've never had any women say yes to me when I have asked them for a phone number or a date so obviously I have never had any girlfriends .what I seem to get a lot of and always have gotten is the few gales that I have been able to even converse with me the don't give me much eye contact they don't smile at me I don't know of any females ever that I can remember at least striking up any conversations with me and very few females will ever ask me any questions about me and the few that have it's like they just don't want to hurt my feeling's or not to be rude it's only obvious to me for at least one reason or another that females just don't even find me attractive and interesting I do approach females everyday because that's all I really can do I suppose

Attraction can be so difficult to clock. It helps if the person is also verbal about their thoughts. May ask for your name, your number or contact, etc. It’s so funny because when I see a girl that I like, one I’ve never spoken to, I’ll do everything I can to ignore her. Careful, longer eye contact could mean she is interested OR she might think you are an idiot and is just seeking to verify that. OR she may just have been observing what excercise you are doing OR she is just being friendly OR she just happened to be looking your way by accident. The acid test is if it happens again and she either smiles back or blushes or quickly looks down, now you can be surer it is attraction!

I need an answer to this!....so there is this male guy who was on his teaching practice , am a nursing student, so the first day he came to my class , he went straight to the board and at that time there was commotion in class so he was waiting for people to settle,....... I was already settled ready to start class ,I was just casually looking at him , but then our eyes met .. That she is likely interested but shy. Depends on her confidence and self-esteem. I often experience the opposite with a girl I often see. She keeps her stare even if I gaze back...we stare into each other's eyes for some seconds, and then she looks away, flushing a bit. Most women and men does that. We all blink after we stare too long at someone or something. Blinking rapidly as you describe it, could indicate nervousness and even panic
