I found that the comparison swatches were the most helpful part of the video. I was interested in seeing how the old formula looked compared to the new. I think the old formula is a bit more sparkly but not as much as I thought it would be. Deadpan is my favorite of the colors you've tried on.
I placed an order back in March, I’m a little pissed I still don’t have mine. I emailed them twice and they took forever to get back to me. My order had a shipping label attached last week but it still hasn’t moved. I understand she’s a small business, but customer service could be better. I don’t know whats going on over there, but I may not be buying anymore in the future.
Hearing this makes me feel better a bit better about mine, I've been waiting since April 2nd with no updates or reply. Normally I receive my looxi orders in 2-3 weeks so this is unusual for them.
I also ordered something six weeks ago. Still hasnt shift and haven't heard anything. It was supposed to be a birthday gift, but now I'm probably not even going to get the order because I'm moving next week :( Definitely don't think I'll be buying anymore. They were super affordable but the wait and customer service isn't worth it. Not to mention I just don't like their newer shades/formulas.

I’m really interested to see your comparison of new vs. old formulas. My Looxi shades are some of my favorite in my collection, all purchased in 2023 or later. I really hope this isn’t the beginning of the end for those amazing sparkly Looxi shades - it is such a unique formula

Just in case you haven’t seen the blurb on top of her newest sale, she is changing to factory made, so I wonder if the long shipping times might be growing pains. I have a lot of Looxi, and absolutely hated the Salti collection and was hesitant but did order 6 of the new collection and ended up wishing I had ordered all of them because I love this collection and had posted my swatches to my makeup group and now everyone is ordering it, including me who picked up 3 of the 4 I didn’t get because Exxtra was sold out.
I'm a little confused with Looxi. I saw your post about the Inventory Selloff so I went to check that out. The website says they are transitioning from handmade shadows to industrial made.. There's the inventory selloff, but a new collection launch as well. I feel like I don't want to buy because I have no idea what I'm going to get. The swatches on the website look incredible but I've heard you and others say you can't trust those.
they somehow always manage to top themselves by being more and more confusing 😭 I wouldn’t be surprised if the last collection (Salti Cloudz) was lab made but not sure about this one. Super curious to see what the inventory sell-off shades are like
I ordered Pretty Little Thing, Sus, Rizz, Darkhorse, Deadpan, and Extra amongst some older ones and a matte. Still haven’t gotten them from 3/31 but it gives me some hope that you got yours! My thoughts: I like that Pretty Little bathing would be a good inner third shade for me. Rizz could be a great one and done. I’m really bummed about Extra because I wanted what the description said. My mom will like this because she loves Drip. Deadpan is totally up my alley. I love interesting cool tones. I can throw a lighter color in the middle or inner third. Sus looks really cool, like nothing I have. Another good one and done. I was so excited about Darkhorse, and it let me down a bit. All in all, I’m looking forward to using them as quick and easy shadows. I like fun neutrals these days. I am most looking forward to Deadpan.
I finally got them! Deadpan is stunnnnn. It looks like a metallic version of Devinah Mystic Moonpie, which I love but don’t like the glitter fallout so I’m going to give it to my mom. Pretty Little Thing is really similar to Sugar & Spice but with a peachier base, and it’s drier. I want to wear it tomorrow with Deadpan. I actually ended up not minding Extra being different from my expectations. However it’s pretty similar to Rock Star but more smooth. It’s also likely close to Drip, which I don’t have. Rizz and Sus are very pretty and could be fun paired together. I didn’t end up liking Dark Horse.
I placed an order for five of these back on April 12 & still no update. Although seeing the eye swatches, now i wish i had waited to purchase. I actually emailed them to ask what was going on with their formula & pointed out that if it's a cost issue, they could switch back to the dimethiconey formula & charge twice as much & no one would bat an eye. No response. I did note something interesting/alarming about the formula ingredients. There appears to be "aluminium powder" in the list now & it wasn't there previously. 😬 I've never seen that with any other indie brand formula.
I got that last collection which was Dud City. I didn't know there was another one until this video. Those colors are too de saturated for me and don't need.
U got ur order before me 😁 usually mine comes first but this time I ordered mattes. I feel like Looxi may be selling out and turning to a manufacturer for their shadows instead of hand making them 😢
If you sell your oldies, I'll buy a bundle! There are so many I've missed 😩 What do you think about this inventory sell-off they're doing? I always want to try their products, but they havent described them well, the images aren't great... it overall just feels discouraging.
Good another collection I can pass on. Probably just going to stop purchasing from Looxi altogether at this rate, if this is the direction they're going. Lackluster metallic formula and variations of the same shade they've done before.
