Follett is an extremely enduring writer. He's been around for years and years and he doesn't look like he's going away soon. Enjoyed all his works - doesn't dissapoint.
I've always thought the London Eye a blight on the cityscape, but what a clever use of it. "Synthetic drama". Yes, an excellent term. Looks like former actress Joan Crawford designed that office he's working in. Cool camera angles.
Every time I see her, she looks more beautiful and her voice is like pure silk! Ken Follett is most privileged to be interviewed by such a wonderful creature!
He has a point when he says Italians wouldn0t sit through a book reading for an hour, I know I'd have a hard time doing that, I would gladly do that and more for interviews and such though, I'm a regular at a book festival in my hometown of Mantua (northern Italy). Also, I totally think Mr Follett should read for his own audiobooks, he has a wonderful voice and way of speaking.
It may be, but Francine is a legit Superstar in her own right. She is smart, sophisticated, and very professional and reserved, and even makes getting up very early at 4 in the morning worth it!
She always looks as if she just had her makeup applied and her hair done. Most women look that way only some of the time, and even the best of them don't look the way she does all the time. Francine is truly a work of art in all ways and she is also one of the most intelligent and well-bred women in broadcast journalism!
The contrast between the blonde, perfectly coiffed hair and the red business suit is quite striking! No woman alive, with this one exception, dresses, talks, and acts as beautiful as Francine does all the time! MAGNIFIQUE!
