I have PCOS and one of the symptoms I really struggle with accepting is excess hair growth. As a woman, it always gives me a bad sense of dysphoria to have this symptom. Hair grows very quickly and it's very thick, and I feel awful about it. I have to work very hard to keep it up to "standard". Hearing your message about beauty and perfection-- I am always believing this for other people. That beauty emanates from within and that physical beauty is so uniquely subjective anyway. It is easy to treat others with kindness, but so hard to show myself the same compassion. Thank you for being the person that tells /me/ these lovely things and to remind me of words I might say to someone else. Much love.

What a LOVELY message at the start of this video! I actually stopped plucking my eyebrows during lockdown and I haven’t done it for a few months now. I have trichotillomania and previously my eyebrows were almost bald. Your words were really thoughtful. 4:44 that lesson you were giving really helped me Maria. I often struggle with not liking my appearance but when you put it in that perspective, people don't love and respect me because of my physical beauty, they love me for my character and how I inspire others. As someone who suffers from really violent depressive thought over my appearance the part in the beginning made me feel so calm and relaxed I almost cried. I thought about my boyfriend and how much I love him and how his appearance has nothing to do with that or would never change that and it gave me a whole different perspective on things.

I just wanted to say Thankyou. I've been so sick lately and feeling so down and just anxious about everything. My emotions are all over the place which makes pain and nausea so much worse. DEAR MARIA, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your videos. Did I mention that I love your videos? LOL I've been watching you for like 10 years or something? Since you first started out. I wanted to thank you for being the first person to introduce me to ASMR. I suffer from severe depression and anxiety and ASMR has been a godsend to me. Between you, latte ASMR, and Whispersred I'm always able to get to sleep these days. I also think it's wonderful how you incorporate life lessons into your beauty videos especially. One other thing, you mentioned something to the effect that you don't like your accent, for me, it's one of the best things about you. It makes me feel so relaxed for some reason PLEASE don't get rid of it!!Anyway, keep up the good work. ❤🌈🦄

I wish that your videos were mandatory worldwide viewing in school. ‘Treat people better....not because of the way they look...but because of how they make you feel’. Or, ‘Do onto others as you would have others do onto you’. Such a simple life lesson, without being preachy, that most people just refuse to practice. Thank you for helping me deal with all of the truly awfulness and ugliness this past year. God bless us all.

You’re hands down the most underrated ASMR RU-vidr. I’ve been watching you for years and I can’t tell you how many times you’ve put me to sleep, but I can recite some of your videos line by line as they happen. Thank you for all of your help. Thank you for always making the best quality videos. I will never stop appreciating that when you touch something or use a tool that the sound comes across instead of dead air with hand movements. It’s so much more realistic and soothing to hear the various sounds. As always, your voice is so relaxing, as well. :)

The 1st 5 and a half minutes are everything.... thank you. Sometimes we all could use a little life advice like that...we dont love someone bc their eyebrows are symmetrical its the way they make us feel which makes us appreciate their outter beauty more. Same goes for us... if we treat people better we will also appear more beautiful on the outside but it definitely does start within. Love you Masha💗
