True all are beautiful, the grooming and hairstyle really enhance our natural assets even without make up so someone who understands the face and technique helps a lot to find the right brows and hair style
i actually do this with facetune i just move my eyebrows around to try out different shapes and in that it can move my features around but it just move them back to where they were without messing with my eyebrows n it works perfectly (:
@@user-ky7jx1cr5k she surely has had very small touch-ups but she also has to pay for a good dermatologist and take care of her physique too well to look good even without any makeup or styling.
Please do one for lips shape and lipstick look. I never know whether Cupid’s bow or curved looks better for different individuals or clean edge versus faded/blotted edge. How thick and plump your lips are also influences looks-ive tried trends that don't work for me on puffy face days ugh 😅
I always struggled with this and learning about the kibble body types has changed my views even on make-up. I recommend checking info about it. It's weird at first to understand but then woah, everything you've experienced on body/clothes/hair/make-up suddenly makes sense
My eyebrows are very thick, and by thick I don't mean the breadth but the thickness of each individual hair strand. So I naturally tend to have really dark brows. I have to be really careful while plucking in the fuller middle part, and just plucking out even one hair strand makes a huge difference bc of how thick each strand is
bruh ikr. my brow hairs are long, thick and DIFFERENT COLORS!!! they just look like i dyed them a while ago and half of the dyed are still there and the other half has already grown out. i have no idea how to groom them.
I have the same problem 😭 I honestly would prefer having very fine eyebrow hairs that look barely there because I could at least fill them into a better shape
@@yasminflower5140 the problem is its not thick as in a lot of hair, its thick as in long, thick hairs that if you pluck the wrong one you'll end up with a hole in you eyebrow😭😭😭
We are in the same club! sometimes i just shave the end of my eyebrow, cuz is lower than the front, but its hard to fill with makeup later and come up with a shape that doesn't look fake...
Hands down this is the perfect brow vid for anyone and everyone from beginner to struggling with one’s brow. I’m so glad I’m subscribed to catch up what Dear peachie has to offer and their very informative tips videos that are worth watching and deserve credit for their hard work on each vid to help us out😭😭😭
This channel is amazing! Im a visual artist so I really appreciated these visual tips for manipulation proportions and shapes. Now I know why I was never sucessful following these 'beauty gurus' on youtube. People like James Charles only know how to apply their OWN makeup and think it should translate to EVERYONE. A real MUA knows how to manipulate and adapt looks to suit individual shapes and features and this channel is amazing at explaining every aspect of these techniques.
Brows definitely make or break a face. Han Ye Seul is a great example of this. There is a lot of photos floating around of her before and after. The only difference is her brow shape, she used to have arched brows but softened them when straight brows became popular. The straight brows makes her softer and more elegant. Whereas there are other celebrities, usually western who look better with arched brows instead of straight.
I think it depends on the features. Western people mostly have sharper and more angled features (nose, jawline, etc.) so sharp-looking arched eyebrows kinda just blend with everything. I have really round features (jawline, nose, lips) but have naturally thick, sharp arched brows 😂 Sometimes I think my natural brows don’t match my face at all
@@timtam3411 there are studies on this. I don’t have the references but you might be able to do a quick search. Basically arches look better on western features because it lifts the brow area. The narration in this video briefly mentions this. Caucasian features have more deep set eyes and prominent brow bones which usually means brows are naturally placed lower. If you make it an arch, it lifts the eyes, creating a more wide eyed effect. Whereas Asians have flatter brow bones and naturally sit higher up. Straight brows sort of lowers the brows. Overall you are trying to balance facial proportions. The golden ratio separates the face into three parts and so makeup and grooming looks better if you know how to balance things out according to the golden ratio.
i actually have been filling my brows how "men do" with the arch being the highest point but i just follow my natural brow shape and structure and after all these years trying to find a brow i like I find my natural shape to be the most flattering for my face lmao
Same it makes it way less confusing, lately I couldn’t bother to keep my eyebrows neat, but one time when I was in 8th grade i took tweezers and cleaned them up a little following the natural shape and i swear i got a million girls complimenting my brows that day. They’re naturally thick and grow fast so ig I just gotta keep them maintained to avoid a unibrow and excess hairs under the arch that make them look messy 😭
I used to do arched but it made me look mean and my face too long, now I make them slightly arched and it balances out my features now. The shape really does make or break you
men have thick, straight brows, while women tend to have arched brows. be aware that if you have masculine features already, making your brows straight will make you look even more manly!
I'm so impressed with people who can do really great make up, the type that truly considers a face individually and manages to get the best out of it. It's like magic and I have no idea how to cast that spell haha
0:32 okay but why did you also retouched her whole face?? you want to point on eyebrows but you also make her face and neck skin plastic smooth so it's easy to say the second picture looks better, but it's not only because of the brow shape, it's also because you photoshopped the whole picture
Mine too, i dont even need to thread it or colour it to make darker, but thats desperating sometimes, cuz people change thir whole makeuplook wifh brows and i have nothing to do with my brows
@@ariastandford7951 yeah like if I try to color them in they look too dark and if i use brow gel/soap brows then they look too arched so I just leave them as they are cuz they look the best that way. thank god I dont need to do anything with them
I've always struggled with the best eyebrows for my face, it always ends up making me looking more angry so I just avoid doing them(I'm blonde so it works). This is so helpful!
This is one of the most in depth and resourceful videos I’ve ever seen on eyebrows. Thank you so much!! I really appreciate the amount of effort you put into it :-)
Hiii! I love your videos:) I’m Asian and I have one monolid and one double eyelid, is it possible to do a video about makeup for uneven eyes(specifically Asian eyes)? I’ve always been extremely insecure about my eyes and makeup doesn’t work effectively for me at all because of my heavily different eyeshapes😭🥺
hi there!! there's a korean youtuber/model called freezia 프리지아. She's known to have uneven eyes but she talks about how she loves them since both sides of her face give off a different image/vibe which is useful when modeling. As someone with even eyes, i get jealous of uneven eyes after watching her videos haha I just wanted to let you know to let you know that everyone is bound to be insecure and want what they dont have. it's just a matter of perspective and owning your features 😁 she uploads makeup videos as well so you can check that out!
I had uneven eyelids before (both still double) and I used eyelid glue/tape for a couple of months on the one smaller eye to train the eyelid to fold the same way as the other one and now they're the same without doing anything! I know some people have to redo it a couple of times before it's permanent. Hope this helps!
This video saved my life 😭 im half asian so i never know if i should follow western or asian beauty trends… whenever i did the western style eyebrow i always felt it looked too harsh on my face. Now after seeing this video it explained everything so well and now i can clearly see asian brow technique will suit me better.
Straighter brows = Graceful & Delicate *Arch not closer to the tail (to avoid elongating forehead) *Longer thinned brows tail (helps with sunken temples, more mature image) Thicker side (to not lengthen forehead) Less curved/arch suits faceshape 10:46 soft arch
1:30, 1:43 brow front nếu brow và eyes gần nhau 2:02 nếu ko 2:39: funnel shape 3:45 giảm mid face 4:07 for wide set eyes lưu ý 4:32 brow arch 5:00 straight brow tác dụng 5:13 5:25 placement of brown arch 5:45 arch gần đuôi=> widen forehead soft arch brow tail 7:12 longer brow's tail trim đuôi lông mày thickness of brow 8:26 shape brows thinner short diamond shape 10:45
So I tried to pluck my eyebrow according to this video, and it actually worked. I have a very wide and round face, so I plucked my eyebrow to be thinner and less straight. And it actually make my face look less heavy and chubby.
Y'all play safe out there and test new eyebrows by putting concealer over what you plan to pluck first to make sure you don't look crazy before you commit. XD
Ive been trying to make my eyebrows straight like korean brows and they looked so weird on me, at last i gave up and decided to accentuate my natural crescent shape and it looks amazing now!!
I just figured out i have a heart shaped face. I put blush on my cheekbones instead of across my nose and cheeks and i did straight eyebrows. I got a lot of compliments today so i think it works better
This video helped me so much! I went ahead and applied some of the tips in this video and my brows look better than ever! I kinda forced my brows to be more straight like the korean trend, but instead of making me look "younger" and more "youthful", it made my face look saggy and I'm only 19 lmao. For me, arched brows that are very well defined, not messy or "natural" looking, make me look younger. It's how my brows are shaped naturally - they are also naturally super dark (and I have very pale skin lmao) so I guess that just looks good on me.
This is easily the best video I've watched out of hundreds related to brows! Everything is clearly explained and showcased, not need trying to imagine what the instructions mean. I think brows can really make or break a look, and it's definitely the fastest way to upgrade a "natural look" for everyday use.
I am a female artist. I draw and paint and do character design. For a long time, even after learning how to draw perfectly!, I watched makeup tutorials learn about faces and I told my students and some young artist to do the same for a better understanding of the face. But! I have never come across a video that explains it so perfectly!!! Girl! This was so great! Most makeup artists say the same thing and tell you to put some products on your face and start like this and end it like that...they never go deep into the science of it! I hope to see more and more videos from you. It really helps. ❤
I'm glad I'm young enough that I never had to deal with the skinny brow trend. The best brows are your natural brows but just cleaned up a little. If you change the shape and size too much, it doesn't match your face and just looks bad. People that have naturally skinny brows look good though but when people have thicker brows and try to make them thin, it never looks good. Edit: Just to be clear, I'm not saying that some subtle adjustments to the brows are bad, but intense changes will not suit anyone
This video changed my hole life OMG, I've never found the correct shape for my brows, but this changed EVERYTHING and now i feel so much beautiful I thought I could only look pretty if I had surgery but this video has changed that! You just need to know what you don't like of your face, and then apply the techniques in the video and et voilà! Thank you so so so so much for this vid
Omg my face changed after i trimmed my inward eyebrow from the bottom, it was too close to my eyes. So it lifted my eyebrows and gave a proper space between my eyes and eyebrows. Thanks for the info!
You don't have to know what's the perfect eyebrows for your face, which type of eyebrows you have is perfect for you! God knows better than this youtuber ❤
This channel has an obsession with Korean idols. 99% of the girls shown are Korean, and I bet 99% of the audience are not Korean. This turns out to be useless for western women.
When you are from central Asia. Almost black brows and thick at the same time. Everything I need to do its cut them off😅 BTW I don't know my face shape its seem round but short diamond at the same time
i have a very weird pair of eyebrows. my left eyebrow has a box front shape, yet my right has the funnel one. left is lower and thicker but right is the opposite, also, my left brow has more of an upturned shape (kind of a subtle star trek kind lol) and right has a more pleasant arch, so it's hard for me to maintain my brows. my brow hairs also tends to be dark and slightly thick, so i'm having a hard time choosing a more suitable color. dark brown shades are a hit or miss, sometimes they can be quite warm or cool in tone, or too dark or too light for a dark brown shade lol, idk what the makeup companies were thinking lol
At the end of the day, for most people it's their natural brows which look best on them.Don't force anything, Just enhance your best features.for some it's their lips or their eyes or nose or their facial bone structure. Just be yourself.💖
I didn’t realize how much actually goes into doing your brows! I started doing mine now with the help of this video and it took me 3 hours straight trying to get it right because of how much of a newbie I am.
How about just follow our natural brow ? I am a beliver that we are already born with feauters that suits us the best. But sadly the media decides what's beautiful and what's not .
i noticed that pre debut tzuyu's eyebrows were kinda like arched and it made her looked a bit angry but still pretty and now since she has straight eyebrows, making her look nice and very pretty
Here I'm watching this while having unibrows:).... anyways this was really helpful and detailed I really enjoyed the video and learned so many new things 😊💞✨
The problem is my brows are more dark on the front which is more harder to shape. My natural brows do not match my face shape as I have a round/diamond face, and I would prefer a natural straight brow but it is almost impossible to make it look natural without plucking or just simply filling it in due to the front being so dark. Does anyone have any tips ? I’ll appreciate it !!
The midface is a ratio; it’s the distance between the interpupillary distance to the top of the lip. What you’ve described as a midface is actually a *middle third*!!!, completely different.
aaah my brows are really thick and dark and honestly im really thankful i have them bc i dont have to fill them in but it also makes me look kinda mad and i dont want that but i also dont want to pluck too much 😭👍🏼
Dang, this is actually the most helpful guide on eyebrows I've ever seen. I did have to take a creative liberty on the inner because I have a natural unibrow, so in addition to bushy as well, I had to carve out my own shape, but with the final piece of the puzzle, I actually look really really good!
Great video. As a guy with light/thin eyebrows naturally and a round face, it's a bit difficult to try to figure out which "don't" tips I /should/ be doing to make myself look a bit more masculine though
I was always wondering why i always look sad and when you said that the tail must not be lower than the front . Oh my god i never thought of this !!! Thank you so much !!!!
