Hello Chuck. Thank you so much for this informative video. I was wondering if you ever give a thought to manufacture adapted prescription peep-lenses? Thank you.
Hmmmmm, I think this might help. I went for rh to lh due to eye dominance, but I have a horrible time at last light trying to line everything up and still see the intended target. Looking at my frames, that looks like it might help, trying to get one closer to the nose. I also run no-line bifocals. Hmmmm
Having problems with my normal optometrist not getting it right. Are you taking new patients or do you have any recommendations for an Optometrist who understands archery?
I wear wide glasses (Shaq- America's Best brand) for my big head. When I bring the bow string to my nose it shifts the frame up out of my vision so I am shooting blind. If I got a "regular" frame with a small lens would I be able to get the bow string on my nose without my glasses looking like I got in a fight? Thanks
I’m looking at ordering the decot glasses for archery shooting and hunting. I will need bifocal lens. It appears they have 2 options RD24 and FT28. Which would you suggest?
Chuck what was the Brand name of the 1st frame in the video? Can I still use progressive lenses with these frames and still see through the peep? Thanks Dave
old video, so you may not get this.. I was wondering that if someone has to wear bifocals and they want to shoot bow do they just go with the bifocals or do they get a single lens pair of glasses to shoot and what script do they use if they go this route
Depends on the shooters goals... In a perfect world I'd use a round seg style bifocal set about 10mm under the lid line. If that's not possible Use a FT-28 bifocal in a similar position. Otherwise, yeah it's a Single Vision style for Distance Rx
