Why do we swipe instead of dip? When you’re doing volume you swipe to make sure the extensions don’t stick together and it can stick right along the natural lash without closing?

I just finished my 2 day course for volumes and classics, she taught us to place the extension under the natural lash, what’s the difference in placing it on top. Your way seems a lot smoother because I’ve tried it both ways.
