my hooded eyes are pretty inconceivable from a lower angle too. they are still undeniably hooded, you just can't tell if you look down at the camera. it gives an overall smoother appearance.
@@deszu just because you have a fold doesnt mean you have hooded eyes. hooded eyes occur when the upper eyelid falls over and conceals a significant amount of your eyelid. basically, the upper eyelid has to be visibly droopy.
people commenting who have stronger hooded eyes, the secret is to just draw a straight line from your outer corner. DONT go upwards in a typical wing shape, just go straight out. if you angle it right your eyelid won't get in the way, and it'll make your eyes look bigger. i typically do this with a really thin line because i prefer a more natural look, but if you want to make it thicker, you can actually draw the typical cat eye triangle using the straight line and connecting it to your lower lash line instead of the top. just don't go down too far or it'll look droopy (unless that's what you're going for, it can be cute too!)
lol I love it when people with no hooded eyes try sharing techniques. my hood is not a 90° shelf, no matter how high you bring that wing up it's still gonna round down.
One of my eyes have more hooded eyelid, I don’t have the worst case of hooded eyes but still I understood that just a cat eyeliner is NOT FOR ME. I tried a puppy liner and I noticed it matches my eyes perfectly and because my eyes are upturned the puppy liner doesn’t give me the „sad” look. Remember, you are never a problem! It’s just the thing that you are trying to fit to the wrong eyeliner style. I recommend to you trying different eyeliner styles, I tried and it made me feel much better about the type of eyes I have.

My eyes are really hooded and even trying to draw that triangle is impossible since I have to stretch out all my skin to fill it in, haven’t seen anyone with my kind of hooded eyes either 😢
I draw that long wing line with my eyes open at their hoodiest to make sure it's straight, then I look down and realize the line's broken (because skin moves when I look down), so I join those two pieces together, and that's when I get a proper line. And then I do the rest.
Oops almost forgot. Okay it does work to make a nice wing shape, although you might have to do a little more work and figure it out depending on your specific eye shape. Also I have shit eyeliner so by the end of the day the upper tail had smudged quite a bit onto my upper lid cause of my hood so be careful out there, good luck!
I have one not slightly hooded (not to hooded, still ok) eye and the other one... god COMPLETELY hooded, it just rare for the covered lid to be seen in wild 🙂👍🏽 I just don't buy eyeliner ... even if I try but still my eyes tremble like mega earthquake, I just gave up
I dislike the wayvbat wings look when my eyes ate closed tho. I do the elongated trick where i draw the line straight out and avoid my crease altogether. More flattering.
I wish I could so my eyeliner to match the other eye but I damage my left eye resulting in blind spot and depth perception damage I can never match my eye liner to look even with each other lol hahahahah I try tho
I think this look so weird lmao. Like the majority of the time you aren't staring straight ahead. And when you blink or look down it looks so odd. I've seen this in person a few times and every time I've thought, "why, just why?" Who thinks this looks good?
But most of the time you're walking around with your eyes open and it looks good. Plus with all the makeup trends and looks today, a little batwing triangle won't be anything weird
