That was my favorite eyeliner too! I realized it was the same as the urban decay 24/7 liquid eye liner which I’d been using for years before they discontinued that as well. So right now I’ve been using wet n wild breakup proof waterproof liquid eyeliner. It’s not as black but it also doesn’t smudge off and has good staying power
I was on the search for an eyeliner a while back which is always a struggle cuz of my hooded eyelids & fell in love with the Kat Von D. Then I was at Dollar Tree & they had an LA Colors liquid eyeliner. I decided to give it a whirl & to my absolute surprise, it’s the BOMB!!! Goes on easy & doesn’t end up on my eyelids. Try it….I think you’ll be blown away!!!
I tried different eyeliners, all drugstore. None of them worked for me. I need a really skinny line bc i have hooded eyes with very little lid space. I tried a tip from Smitha Deepak. Use a nail art brush--it has a very skinny stiff brush plus they're cheap. Use that with potted gel eyeliner. I can't believe how well it works! The gel I got was from Maybelline. It includes a brush but I didn't use it. Oh the liner stays put too!
Try the cover girl get in line liquid eyeliner in major matte black! I’ve tried so many and this is my favorite! Super black, doesn’t bleed. It’s only good for a couple months, but it’s relatively inexpensive and often on sale or there are coupons!
I really struggle with finding good eyeliner. Pencils seem to smudge or run by the end of the day. Liquid ones can irritate my eyes or feel like a dried out marker. I can usually feel the irritation right away but recently tried the H2O proof Elf one and had good luck with using it. I need to do an all day test.
I loved that eyeliner so much! The one NYX replaced it with I tried too. It’s terrible. The one that has replaced NYX matte liquid liner is ELF!!! I swear it’s an exact dupe and so much cheaper. Try it, you’ll love it!
I heard the CoverGirl Get in Line in Matte Black is a good dupe! I agree, I need something: liquid, matte black, brush tip, under $15. No gels/pots, no pens, not waterproof, truly matte, no felt tips. I have hopes for the CG, but am uncertain if the tip is felt or a brush.
I use Stila stay all day eyeliner and Clinique pretty easy liquid eyeliner pen. I think the Clinique one might dry on the matte side more then the Stila. I wish I can do the wing like you do. You make it look so easy. Lol
Hi there ! I just saw this video and I also hate shiny liquid eyeliner! I tried and fell in love with Joah line up liquid eyeliner. I use the one with the pink writing because it’s a brush tip. The blue writing is a felt too I believe but same formula. Hope this helps!
Ugh so sad the nyx liquid matte eyeliner is no longer available! I didn't even know :( I'm almost out of mine. They did this before with another matte eyeliner they had many years ago.I used to love the wet n wild matte eyeliner. I believe the formula was changed and I developed an allergy on my eyelid. Now I'm using the Mac pen eyeliner which I like but am looking for a cheaper alternative. Thanks for doing this video!
