On the 2nd December 2018 the fishing port of Eyemouth
Gathered to welcome the arrival of there new all weather lifeboat
A shannon class lifeboat 13-29 Helen Hastings the vessel traveled up the coast from Poole leaving on wednesday and doing the journey in stages this was her arriving at her home port of Eyemouth joined by fellow local RNLI boats from Dunbar, and Berwick-Upon-Tweed and near by neighbours independent lifeboat from St'Abbs.

It’s great to see the Shannon class acting like a puppy of the leash while her bigger sisters look on . My best wishes to all who serve in the RNLI and coastguard community

Stop Stop 2:12 I forgot my lunch. Love the way the skipper "buried it. Great film. Nimble and quick boat. Great to see new equipment come in. Probably the most worthy charity on the planet.

This is a truly lovely film. I've watched it about 100x. Not joking. I'm in Norfolk but Eyemouth has a very special place in my heart. I was so totally priviledged to spy both Helen Hastings (inward passage) and Barclaycard Crusader (outward passage) at their passage port of Lowestoft. What a fabulous display for Helen's arrival, including her new flanking buddies. The music makes it all the more excellent. Thank you! Sarah
