Rest got wrecked the last time they played. He his usual baiting style for far too long instead of being in his face like he was this time because as a char yoshi is far better at keepout and baiting than hwo Another adjustment I noticed is that the last time, when rest finally decided to be more aggressive, he kept getting flashed because his flamingo strings were too long and kept getting interrupted. It was very impressive to see how compact his pressure was this time and it paid dividends. I watched the meeting before this one last night before bed so it was really kool to see the adjustments made by rest. EM is an amazing yoshi player for sure and thought rest would lose again because he's a naturally defensive hwo but he did his hw and it showed. High level Tekken is amazing when you can decipher even a few of the many layers of strategy going on all at once🤯
Eyemusician is known for choking lol. In his finals matches against the Geese player and Jeondding in that online open korea tournament, he was playing waaay too safe and lost a lot of matches
He is still really young and unexperienced. Plus he is playing against gods who knows yoshi matchup, which makes it much harder for yoshi player.Yoshis tier drops alot if oppo knows the basics of yoshi, if they know the matchup completely i drops further. Also for those who main yoshi know that geese is possibly the worst matchup for yoshimitsu. Eye beat rest quite alot in their stream match prior to this.
@@camilomarchesi1793 unga bunga works against good players aswell trust me. He does that against likes of knee who is the best player in the world no doubt. I think problem is that he seems to be a bit of nervous, not relaxed and does not want to take risks. Everytime he tried to do risks it worked. Also he seems to be afraid to use flash. Regularly he is killing top players with flash. Also probably jsut sample. Its just first to 5. Longer sets would obviously be more equal if he played for fun.
rest played amazing. yoshi is pretty decent against hwo imo due to being able to spin away from most strings. rest played a very good and calculated game. eye is a yoshi god so all the glory to rest. also great point about yoshis rage drive. its amazing. super fast, high crush, and hella damage. way to many people think yoshi is low tier, this just isnt so.

Granted the flow chart labbing is key to yoshi but only labbing in real matches work, but yoshi does need to know other characters he might not have good punishes but can use certain moves you’d not normally use that might be way more rewarding because you know just how minus on block the other person is. By far the most hardest character to learn when it comes to tournament level play. Constantly having to change the mix ups when people adapt to them just as quick is when a yoshi is really tested and it never stops, if more people played yoshi I think they’d understand just how insanely on point eye musicians mind really is.
I used to play Hwoarang on Tekken 3 in early 2000s in North Delhi, sadly the Arcade scene was mostly Paul and King. Seniors actually would teach you these two but for most of the others you had to figure out a lot of the stuff by yourself.
Yoshimitsus highest winrate is 50% against himself. He is by far the hardest character to play especially in professionell play. In my opinion EM is one of the best players in the world if not the best with knee, arslan and jdcr but yoshimitsu is so bad.
@@TomTom-tz7zf yoshimitsu is the worst character in the game if he hasn't flash. He lacks good moves like orbitals, hell sweeps etc., has the worst frame advantage in the game. Dunno what your hwoarang brain is talking Edit: bad power crush, worst lows in the game even his db4 is minus lmao, the only thing he has is his massive amount of bad moves and his flash that is alwayw risky no matter how good you are because it is -15 on block

tbh in a match like that just fundamentals and trditional combos are more safe then getting clipped for every skyrocket you start but some flamingos are needed

eye musician shouldnt have been hit by that move in the fourth match he spun out the way but the move for some reason still hit him as if he were still in the same position from what i could tell but it was too fast
@@dubuious nope and i already watched the vid and gave my opinion dont want to rewatch the whole thing maybe you guys shouldnt expect someone to always do something you want just because you ask maybe if you guys are so curious yall should rewatch and try and figure it out i did say the fourth match should be enough info to narrow it down

people just like to complain about yoshi because they see others do it. hes the coolest character in the game and always has been. people still dont understand yoshi and they dont want too. everyone thinks hes low tier because unless a pro says otherwise they cant decide for them selves. then when they get beat its because "you were trolling" or "unga bunga" remeinds me of the akuma situation, if knee and arslan didnt say so you'd still have people on their high horse saying "just learn the match up". it was clear as day his frames and damage are broken in the right hands, i dont need arslan and knee to tell me whats comon sense. Im not saying hes S tier but right now people still think yoshi is one of the worst characters because they lack comon sense. Kung Fu is the art of Deception, Yoshimitsu has this in spades.
@Shini64m1 yup. @Diddle n Fiddle all that and more. people are gonna keep being angry at yoshi. they dont want to addmit hes not low or midteir, so they will think its just an annoying opponent or match up. truth is hes a strong character
