Maiko's story sounds like a movie plot: she's late to the audition, she didn't listen to the music beforehand and yet she was the perfect one for the job
@@bayonetta5101 Not really, bayo 3 was nice because its bayonetta but it really a mess all throughout. We lost too much and the end product couldve been sm better
3:22 this woman didn’t listen to the prerequisite music, came in late, and the team already had one picked out and she still got the part what an absolute chad
Maiko Was Very Late When She Came to Audition. The Judges were Very Disappointed. But When She Perform The Audition Her audition Piece Got Selected. And We got an Icon. Destiny is really mysterious
YA! Specially being late in a culture such as tge Japanese one, that's a huge nono and they didn't even wanted to choose her because not only the tardi, but she didn't even heard the song she was supposed to dance to in the first place 🤣 seeing her perform must have been magical because even with those big disappointment they had to admit she was THE ONE by a large margin over the other ones. Also how in the actual recording for the game they kept asking her to keep going for hours because they just couldn't get enough of her and then the creator made sure to use and put ALL of her moves in the game one way or another. Bless that woman wherever she is because my favorite part about Bayo is her fucking fire ass dance moves.
So Platinum took all the recorded but unused dance scenes and put it all together as a the end credit, all because they don't want them to go to waste. This goes to show how amazing of a dancer Maiko is.
It's most likely due to her either wanting moreso to be a teacher (she has a very wonderful and seemingly very popular dance studio in Japan you can look up, it's really interesting to see her other dances, a lot of it is modern jazz) or never got a really good team to promote her/get her other jobs. It seems like dancing is not a very popular career nowadays though.. Besides backup dancing in music videos there isn't much work or appreciation for dancers (though I say this as a completely amateur/casual fan of dancing, not a devoted one who knows of competitions and the like). As far as I know she's still doing capture data for Bayonetta though. Just the money from that probably could keep her satisfied if Platnium is good to her. If she wants other jobs though I feel like the reputation of Bayonetta's animation data alone could probably get her tons pretty easily. I'm betting on her just preferring to teach.
And one of the most captivating thing on both bayonetta 1 and 2 is that the bgm/music is so f* good, combine with the fluid combat system, it's literally "dancing" with your enemy
I'd love to thank to dancer for giving Bayonetta's awesome sexy style of movement. And I'm actually a fan of the dance after you complete the game. Its a great performance and of course sexy. More Bayonetta is always awesome. Thank you Maiko Uchida!
I remember I saw a gif of her doing what I refer to as the "Miss Me Baby?" pose (because it's her Down Taunt in Smash but it is also one of her three win poses) and my jaw dropped...I thought it would be almost impossible to dance like her and the animators just did a good job conveying what they thought was dance but to think there's a real woman out there that can do all the dances...it's amazing...
I love how the developer team says that "we are a bunch of amateurs when it comes to dancing, so we let her do whatever she wanted." I am not saying that all amateurs opinions are worthless, but sometimes I just think that employers really should respect professional opinion more, especially when someone clearly knows more than you do about a particular field.
I love how she thought so deeply about the lore of accessories and items. But let's be honest probably more than half of us don't even bother to read it. Not that I hate it, it's just unfortunate.
I appreciate the effort of the team for adding the description, they probably are aware that a lot of players won't bother to read those. P.S. I enjoy reading them a lot. I find the notes, descriptions of weapons and accessories, profile of demons and angels etc. incredibly thoughtful and entertaining... it really add colors to the world of Bayonetta.
The first game had so much more pazzaz, the dances were fun and especially for the scene with bayo dancing against the angel that acts like bayo, super funny to watch
I mean youd think you want consistency with the summons. So when you see it you know she would summon gomorrah or labolas. Thats why i didnt think on it any further. They had to switch it up in 3 later since most were different (if you see this comment this year hehe)
So anime like stories does happen in real life Japan too! Imagine the story they're telling in anime form how the oods where already greatly against her 1. She was late (take in consideration how Japanese culture disapproves tardiness) 2. She basically came "unprepared" by not listening to the music and not having at least an idea of a choreography ready. But her years of training and her resolve as a dancer inspired her and agev her the power to perform what would be the iconic dance that blew all the creators away and the moves that we all love and admire till today's date.
Experts and masters can often perform even with their eyes closed, most of their skills have been honed so well they don't even need to think beforehand, those who are veteran athletes, actors, performers can do an on the spot sample showcasing what they can do. Impromptu performances are easy as breathing for them.
I'm gonna say it, and hopefully im not the only one who says it. This game was and is a successful franchise, you can measly tell they put tons of work onto this with the characters, weapons and items that have their own backstory. People say this game is just a mess because of the story i stand correct the story could've been displayed better but in honesty the game not bad. Witches in old days used their sexually as a style of art or fighting. This game gets so much hate
Anyone who says the story is a mess is either trolling or incredibly foolish. The story's intriguing for what it is and it _is_ well told. If you've played the first game you should know what the overall plot is about. Sure, the flashbacks of Cereza and her mother are a little confusing because it's hard to tell the two apart since they look a lot alike, but that's really the only thing anyone can complain about. All of the collectible notes in the game are reasonably obtainable and they guide you through not only the story, but also the settings, characters, enemies and their origins as you trek along. The second game is just a follow-up that details the origin of Balder. Everything else is a continuation of new information alongside what you should already know.
Valentine Mistress EWWWWW! I hate GTAV and COD so much. Especially COD. I simply don't find it appealing and every COD is the same thing. GTAV, isn't *bad*, it was just *overhyped*.
Off topic, but isn’t it crazy how digital cameras have advanced since 2009? Like you think there wouldn’t be that much of a difference but looking at this vs something modern, it’s interesting to see how far we’ve come. Makes you wonder how different our modern film would look compared to something filmed 13 years in the future. Will we ever hit a limit on how much we can advance certain technologies?
Gato Brujo "sjw"? No one had a problem with her except for that one reviewer at comicon and a couple of bloggers on the internet, every woman I know loves her:/
@@durenatu Yes, you need to explain because honestly, I get that people throw fits over anything today but I literally cannot see a reason they could find in this game to whine about that.
They don't want to take off any underwear something about that concerns me are they trying to kid anyway that girl was full of energy I really liked her dancing but I prefer the one the bike more I think🥴
