Eyes on wrong direction leads to disaster, highlights Activist Sherlekar as 15 areas changed to sett 

In response to the recent controversy, activist Swapnesh Sherlekar has claimed that Subhash Velingkar deliberately orchestrated these tensions to distract the public. Sherlekar criticized media outlets for further escalating the situation, suggesting they are diverting attention from a critical issue, which is the conversion of land in Bardez, Salcete, Pernem, Tiswadi and Canacona Talukas. According to Sherlekar, the TCP department has issued a gazette in which fifteen areas have been changed to settlement zones, a decision made by Chief Town Planner Rajesh Naik.
