I think you did great! As for the Wahala, I hate when resellers do that. I could see getting your money back or maybe even a little extra for your time, but 4x's the price is disgusting. I ended up with 2 extra sets of the Odens Eye Christmas palettes and wanted to sell them since so many people want them. But people are selling them for $200-$300 for ONE palette. I saw a couple cheaper go up, they were bought and literally a week later they were being resold for more. I mentioned this in another video and a woman agreed how bummed she was about how much they are going for. We messaged a bit and I ended up selling her mine for what I paid for them. It was a happy day. To each their own, but I can't stand the greed. I wish we could be more of a community and be about the makeup, not buying extra to jack up the price. To be honest, I can’t believe I paid that much 🤦🏻♀️ if there is a demand, there will always be a market. I don’t fault resellers doing that yet it can be problematic when they swoop them all up for that intention. That was super kind of you to sell it to her at cost 😊
Price gouging is disgusting. People who do it need to be kicked off/ banned from apps. I report all listings on Mercari I see doing that, but unfortunately I don’t think it does anything.
@Lilinoe Saballos Yeah, these people buy extra with the intention of jacking up the price when it goes out of stock. They do it with every release. I get pricing a little higher so cover the app fees and shipping, but it's getting crazy.
Trying to pick a favourite palette is like parents picking a favourite child ahaha! You have such an amazing collection I should declutter but I'm a hoarder especially when it comes to palettes ahaha! xx
@@michellenylander8957 I remember the dose of colors being pretty good quality (just decluttering due to no longer enjoying that color story). The hudas are hit or miss. I feel like the newer ones are better. Melt is also hit or miss. The shimmers are a little chunky yet I LOVE their color stories.
@Katherine Campbell I've heard the exact same things about those that you said. Probably why I keep holding off on getting anything Huda or Melt. But Melts packaging makes it really hard to resist 🤣
I have wanted to get the Enchanted pallette by Sigma but I waffle back and forth on it. Is the Hope shade in the ABH neuveau pallette the smae or similar to the peridot shade?
So I just swatched the two next to each other. Both have the same texture/consistency yet peridot is more on the warm limey side and Hope is more on the cooler olive side.
