@@Queenofcats36i think that they’re really leaning into the grungy stuff that a lot of people my age. i’m 22. i’ve noticed that so many people i’m around are getting into grungy, almost industrial looks. smoky eyes, dark waterlines, multichrome graphic liner paired with a grungy lip

this is so amazing, especially with being overrun atm by releases - to get a short feedback from this years' palettes....so when you want to shop after the festive days when there might be sales/ you got some giftcards, of what to avoid and what to go for. Also love the feedback to "older" palettes we might have already forgotten about but they still might be of interest/ we have them already and re-discover them by watching you. I’m afraid I used to be a massive fan of Glamshop and still love the shadows I purchased from them in the past. Unfortunately, I have had to stop supporting then following a recent horrendous customer service experience with them where I had to go through Paypal to get my money back when they messed up. It’s a shame that you often only find out how bad a brand’s customer service experience is when something goes wrong - it was such an unpleasant and stressful experience that I would caution anyone else from purchasing from Glamshop.

I recently got the Viseart coyish palette and I LOVE it. The shimmers are classy but such fun shades, and very sparkly. I don’t necessarily think color is not wearable for the office, but someone who is not a happy clown might think the coyish is wearable color.

Im learning so much about Indie makeup by watching your videos and other makeup artists.(lol I know I seem to be too excited in this comment but I've been getting into the eyeshadow game and practicing with eyeshadows for one year😂).. Anway, I found out about Glamlite for example through watching your videos and Annettes makeup channel. Thanks for showing your palettes, I really appreciate it. For the first time this year, I had bought 3 palettes from an Indie brand,Odens Eye' after doing my research and watching tons of reviews on the brand .I'm glad I bought the Xmas palettes that got relaunched. I also bought the 'Trick or Treat' palette which is the one u collabed with this year , the colour story really is gorgeous ! Final thing I wanna mention, I had never seen declutter videos that much so those type of videos also helped me choose palettes I truly like and want to use. I cant wait to buy more eyeshadow palettes though 😂

Oh I don't mind the quality of them, but the owner was very unprofessional towards me and others so I have chosen to not review them anymore due to how they spoke to us. So the palettes themselves are fine, I just will give them away :)
Good for indie brands who are only rude and unprofessional to us lowly normal customers but always nice to creators w the right following. Plenty of those around
It's funny that the year you get rid of Glamlite ice cream dream is precisely the one I got convinced to get it. I really like pastel or semi-pastel palettes and you had said so great things about the quality that I got it. And girl, I am really enjoying it!!! I understand that you have too many palettes but I am glad to be after you and buy, thanks to you, things that I know are going to be great quality. Thank you!
I love that Fantasy Cosmetica does singles. I would love to collect all the palettes because I am an RPG player but I like that there is the option to cherry pick shades if I want to instead.
I really loved the pastel palette from give me glow. I tossed it due to age. If they would make it with smaller pans I would repurchase it. The size is the only reason I am not repurchasing it. Storing somewhat smaller palettes is easier in my vanity.
I'm gonna start getting a shot for every time Angie says "inner corner shade." Great collection, I love seeing declutters and all those color stories 😊

Well from what I was able to find out on Reddit, it's purely personal beef between the owner and Angie... Personally I don't like the attitude of oh let's be nasty to a brand simply because one influencer stopped working with them for whatever reason. Even Oden's Eye is pretty shady with smaller RU-vidrs - I know 2 of them who had terrible experience with the brand but at least they had the decency to talk about it, and share what happened. We can think with our own brains when you present something even if it's basically one-sided
@@Rosispergia thats Right! I would Not avoid a Brand because of some Personal problems, but Angie also talked about brands she doesnt Support because of good reasons, like JS. And thats why I listen closely. There are a Lot of Brands with problematic behaviour and sometimes I‘m Not as involved anymore, Like so was years ago, so I dont hear about it.
I agree 100% with your opinion and experience with Give me Glow. I felt the same way and was so sad to throw away their bad witch club palette into the trash. Unless they reformulate their mattes, I will not be trying them again.

For example, I’ve been tempted to buy the Yucca palette for weeks, but I found the Ace Beaute Tropical it’s thesame story. Would be awesome is you compare int his way the new launches
I'm 45 minutes in and I have to pause this to go run errands and I don't want to because I'm enjoying this video so much! I agree about the Xenon palette. Even for someone like me who loves gray shadows, it was a missed opportunity even as much as I love her formulas.
I'm glad u saved some BH for the memories. RIP old BH. I also love that u give CP credit for its good palettes. I love my C-3PO palette and my all-matte quads. I don't usually buy from Juvia's Place, but their Afroglactic palette has a great color story and the quality seems really good for their price pt, esp on sale. There's also 1 strong multichrome, 1 strong duo chrome, and 2 very subtle duo chromes in there.
Kinda feeling like its the end of an era since Futurisms ,BH travels, mini Juvias and Blue Moon are all going. I wish i had gotten the Aries and Scorpio quads, they always look so pretty. I will say i skipped a big portion in the middle with all the recent-ish indie brands ,since I can't keep up with shipping anymore and I've just stopped delving into them. Thanks for your hard work 😊
I've been debating between the ice cream palette and the collab with mikayla from glamlite for the longest time🫠 both color stories speak to me, and I really want both, but I think I'm sold on the pastels in the ice cream palette.... BUT, the shimmers in the mikayla palette just have me drooling, especially with all the looks I've seen done with it😮💨 so I'm probably gonna be going back and forth for a while and have to just randomly pick one😩🥴
Club Nebula is such a good palette. I almost thought you were going to get rid of it when you mentioned liking your others better, lol. I dont use it enough, honestly, but i love the tones in it. I do think my favorite of your collabs might be Hela with Odens Eye (the original), but Club Nebula is special!
I would love to see you do a comparison video showing your matte yellows and mustards. I have been interested in getting a true matte yellow and I had to get rid of Untamed due to age. I loved Boho and Hustle. I wish Sigma would make a quad or 9 pan with those shades. If they ever do I am buying it ASAP. If you have any suggestions for similar shades I would love it.
I said this on Betty Jean’s video when she got to Kaleidos. They seem to have gone the way of Urban Decay, from super colorful and fun to mostly neutral. Since they always release at least two quads at the same time it would be nice if one was more colorful and the other neutral.
Does anyone know what is going on with Shroud Cosmetics? Angie mentioned their new palette, Dark Academia, in her video. I ordered it on November 21st, over 3 weeks ago. I received my order confirmation and that is the last I've heard from the brand (and I know those email confirmations are automated so it didn't even come from them). I've tried emailing, DMs, calls, etc. I haven't heard back from them. They also haven't shipped the palette. I feel like I'm being scammed but also, is she okay? Has anyone heard from the owner of Shroud? Did something happen? I am half worried, half pissed.
@@RavenEys I ordered by accident. I had added the palette to my shopping cart but didn't check out. Then I received a coupon code, so I went back to enter it but they don't have a spot at checkout to enter a code. I went to click out of it and accidentally hit the purchase button. I emailed them to cancel the order or just refund the amount of the coupon and never heard back. I've been emailing them every day and no response. I've posted on their IG, sent DMs - nothing. I ended up doing a chargeback with my credit card. They said it could take 30 days to complete.
Ive been trying to use up my old make up instead of letting it sit. So I made a new year resolution to do a different eyeshadow look everyday with all of my pallets. Then i can better decide what I actually like!

Thanks to Angie, Nikki Raven and Debutawn (Debbie), I found indie eyeshadows before wasting money on mainstream brands. I never looked back, no regrets. From bh cosmetics, Odens Eye, Kaleidos and my favorite Unearthly cosmetics!!! I cant wait to try BellaBeaute Bar ❤

Biba and the Nude palette feel very different to me, biba makes the peach/terracotta in the Nude palette look cooler. I regret my Biba palette, but I did get a lot of use out of it. However, it was a nice step away from from those intense orange, neutral palettes before the 2020s. Also, it's grey is quite unique because it's not that cool.
