Thanks for watching today's video! I just wanted to further clarify about not reviewing the Harry Potter palette but having Jeffree Star... I'm not telling anyone what they should or should not buy, because it's your hard earned money and that's your choice. I didn't review the HP palette because I wasn't aware of the 'drama' beforehand so I wasn't ready to review that and have to explain my choices. I have reviewed Jeffree products because it brings in views, helping my job as a RU-vidr, I get a lot of requests to review the brand & return on investment is important. I don't think Colourpop reviews bring in the same kind of return and it was never requested so I just didn't do it. It's makeup, and at the end of the day eyeshadow feels weird to be justifying... but again, you can purchase whatever makes you happy!

You do you, Bridgette! I totally understand the Jeffree Star thing. I like his products so I'll continue to buy them. (I'll enjoy Harry Potter too at the same time.) We're allowed to have our own values and beliefs and not feel pressured to conform.
People need to separate the personal views of JK Rowling from the amazing work she's created. History is full of people who have created enjoyable or innovative things who held controversial or offensive views. Review what you want to review. Someone will always be unhappy. Love your declutters
❤❤❤. It’s so sad to me that the world is such a place where you had to put this disclaimer in. I think about the actual people that make the product- our purchases and reviews keep those people fed. JS isn’t gonna close up shop because of his controversy and JK Rowling isn’t gonna go broke either. HP is a kids classic and while I definitely do not agree with HER ( the author), no one can deny that HP is a staple of our generation. Keep doing you Bridgette and never ever feel bad for your content! Like him or hate him, JSC has made some bomb ass makeup.

I think Colourpop is losing steam not only because they release SO MUCH, but because we keep justifying them as affordable while they creep into the higher end of drugstore pricing.
If you suppor Jeffree Star you may as well do the Harry Potter palette review. I wish they'd thrown in a lime green matte, but I can pair the Tinkerbell palette with it. I'm actually thinking about swapping some of the greens from the Tinkerbell palette into the Harry Potter palette.
It's so hard parting ways with eyeshadow palettes anytime lol Try giving JSC weirdo more chance , I didn't love it either at first which is why I got it when it was really cheap , the colors freak show all over the lid and 1985 on the lower eyelid AMAZING and brought me back to my 90s goth self. And inner corner with that liquid shadow that's white or weirdos mohawk 🔥🖤🖤🖤
Butterbeer it's just cream soda. The Frozen butterbeer is just cream soda slushie. Hopefully that helps you decide if it's worth going to Universal to get. It's definitely a fun experience going there if just trying to enjoy life

One thing I love about getting old is you don’t care anymore who is going to get butthurt. I mean I don’t go out of my way to hurt people but they are always looking for a reason to engage in drama. To be mad. As long as you yourself are a decent person with some virtues hang what everyone thinks. Chances are their thinking is flawed to begin with. I know it’s hard to keep up with all these saints out here. 🙄
My wife is Transgender, and hell yeah, do we despise JK Rowling and her Terf views. We have enjoyed Harry Potter Series, and our Kids love them. So it's very difficult to try and figure out what stance to take. It can be similar to Chic fil a. They donate and support anti-LGBTQ and anti-trans organizations and laws. In this instance, my wife and I have tried Chic fil a and didn't like it. I think if it was something I really enjoyed, I would have a hard time boycotting it. Everyone has their opinions and what to do and not do. It is so complicated and messy. The actors and the crew of the Harry Potter movies who are not transphobic or homophobic shouldn't be punished because later on, JK revealed her stance. There could be employees who are against what Chic Fil A is donating to. should they be punished by a boycott? In my opinion, those who are LGBTQ and Allies have a difficult choice, and it should be a personal choice and respected. I find it easier to boycott a business like Chic Fil A because they have repeatedly lied when saying they will stop sending donations to these hate groups. Many of the actors of Harry Potter have come out and stated that they do not agree with JK Rowling. So I find it easier to support the actors and make it known that JK came out later and not support JK. These choices are difficult and people have strong feelings on this topic. There is no possible way to please everyone. So be your authentic self and that will shine through.
You could always do a review of Harry Potter based makeup and either donate a portion of profits to a trans community OR link a couple of videos in the description of experts talking about the controversy. That way, you're not glossing over the way JK Rowling's comments hurt the tran community. But you're also allowing yourself to love the books and movies (and make the content you've already invested in)
It makes me so sad to see all this drama regarding JKR and all the hate she gets. If people had actually looked into the issue and instead of jump to conclusions they would see that JKR is only standing up for women and children. How people can hate someone who is trying to protect children is beyond me. And to the point it affects eyeshadow palettes!
To answer your question ; buying anything officially licensed Harry Potter directly supports JK Rowling who donates to anti-trans organizations --- that includes theme parks and makeup. So ask yourself if that's something you want to contribute to with your money. "Getting in trouble" with people is not why you should be worried about here.
JK is allowed to believe what she does, just like you are. It's against her values. We are allowed to have values we want to preserve, even if others disagree.

The few in leadership (not the common people) have committed horrific crimes against humans & animals including forced organ harvesting on living people. Animals are largely treated very iinhumanely. The Chinese government has imprisoned more than one million people since 2017 and subjected those not detained to intense surveillance, religious restrictions, forced labor, and forced sterilizations. The United States determined that China’s actions constitute genocide, while a UN report said they could amount to crimes against humanity. The CCP (Chinese Communist Party) arrests & and enslaves people that believe differently; they currently have a million Muslim Oueghars in concentration camps, much like those in Nazi Germany, the only difference being that not much attention is being given to these evils. Makeup manufactured in China is almost always of inferior quality with lower standards & dangerous chemicals that disrupt hormones & the endocrine system because chemicals get absorbed thru the skin. Makeup sold in China is by law forcibly tested on unwilling & terrified innocent animals. After learning about this I stopped buying Morphe, elf, ABH, NYX, Juvia's Place & Kaleidos bc among others, they are manufactured in China. Buying from them robs us of important opportunities for our own country. I've deleted their app Tiktok after China's surveillance/spy balloons repeatedly crossed into our country's airspace. We really need to think about where our products are manufactured; the last thing we want is to support the very antithesis of everything we love about the variety of a free market that gives us the luxury of choice. The best cosmetics I've EVER used are made in USA, anywhere in Europe (especially Italy, France, Germany, Poland) and Japan, Taiwan and Korea. Just my opinion.
I think because Colourpop released so many collections back to back a lot of people are just tired of them. I loved High School Musical but that palette was just blah. Also just wondering why you hate Hipdot?
As for my views on the Harry Potter thing. The authors views suck. But I still love the story and the world and will continue to enjoy it. No one's perfect if we clocked everyone on everything they've ever said and done everyone would be canceled. So while I disagree with her views maybe she can learn and grow.
Universal is amazing just make sure if you go you get the fast pass it's definitely worth paying twice as much it was absolutely horrible waiting in lines for 3 day. I will never do it again. I hate Disney because of that. I love virtual reality. I did not care for the Violet sage at and I purchased it because of course I did not get it in my box, such a disappointment I think I found out after that it was an exclusive, I could be wrong on that.. maybe it's the wander. All I know is I do not like exclusives they absolutely cut corners and what is even more sad is you should see how many you have in your collection that you have kept and love from boxy and ipsy I do not have 1 in 7 years from ipsy that I love and the only ones that I love from boxy are the Huda and Anastasia that's it but I don't like neutrals And that's having all 6 boxes so that's really bad I wish indie brands were big enough to be able to produce the amount that would be needed for ipsy or boxy I would much rather receive those than the high end brands because it's just left over junk 98% of the time I agree about the ND I have not liked one that I have received in my boxing I have not tried the jubilee but I am hesitant to even waste it.. Once again because almost all of them are exclusive. The zendo just isn't it.

I think u should do a short video of u destroying the Harry Potter pallet(where u break up the eye shadows. It might be a, way u can get a video out of it but not getting under ppls skin who oppose Jkr. Just a random idea. Jkr. Or maybe if u like the eyeshadow. Break them up and try repressing them. And putting in a magnetic pallet.
