I feel as if I have just now discovered eyeshadow sticks because I am finally putting them through an experiment to see how they behave on the eyes. so let's try Fenty, Rare Beauty and Colourpop eyeshadow sticks to see which one is best.

I have been a makeup artist for over 15 years now and I LLOOVVEE eyeshadow sticks, but the secret is to use them to base out your eye in the area's you want those colours (lighter at the brow, deeper in the crease and lash line) and then finesse and set the shadow sticks with traditional eyeshadows! It gives way more depth to the look, allows you to build and layer different textures and finishes, and gives you unstoppable lasting power! Enjoy 😉 In a nutshell, treat shadow sticks like coloured eyeshadow primer and lay powder shadow on top 👌

I didn’t expect the eyeshadow to disappear on the side with only the primer, since that’s the side that was showing up more vibrantly wow!

Great video!! I liked how the Color pop eyeshadow looked on you...until it exited the chat! The Fenti was a MUCH better product! And as usual the makeup look was STUNNING... while it lasted.

I was really surprised at how well it showed up on the eye with just the primer, but yes, they seem a little lackluster. 💜

So glad you thoroughly tested them out! Every once in a while I get interested in eyeshadow sticks but except using them as eyeliner they don't work on my only eyelids either. Its either liquid eyeshadows, sometimes cream eyeshadows that come in a pot, or powder!

As an asian, I am raised in an environment where you need to be light skinned to be included in the spectrum of beauty but as I grew older, I realized that it is not the case. There's a lot of people who have darker skin than mine but I find them really attractive specially the way they carry themselves. On that note, not a lot of make-up brands have adapted to diversities and everytime I watched her videos and she put on something that's fits her right, for some reason, it feels so heartwarming.

Could you test Mally's shadow sticks? She's had those out for yonks and i swear i used to use them sans primers, just slapped onto ky oily lids and they stayed put. I honestly don't think they creased nor moved but it's been yonks since i used them

I've used the shadow sticks from J Cat beauty. They crease too. Even with a primer. I use it for an inner corner highlight.

thank you for this video! i was thinking of buying several of these but they perform horribly and not even worth the $8. i wanted them for easy bronzey looks or inner corner highlight but they don’t look worth it especially since i have super oily eyelids.

The Milani sticks are supposed to be good too. I just don't want to pay $25 for a stick 😕. I may try the Rare, they're a little cheaper than Fenty.

also, most sticks you shouldn't use a back and forth motion with. they have more pigment in one direction swatches. you may need to try a different color base/primer and keep your eye closed while it dries and then set it, before opening.

Hi Love~FENTY did there research and nailed it for the GURLIES. Can you please do the ‘Bobbi Brown’ cream eyeshadow sticks. I remember when they weee first released and they gave me the ‘blues in a not so good way’. Maybe it was because I did not try as hard or the eye primer. I did not give them away because of the monies I’d invested. Guess what I’m trying to say is, were they just not ever any good. That would make me feel better about having made the mistake of going along the lines of easy eyeshadow.

Have you tried priming and lightly setting your eyes with setting powder first and then use the eyeshadow sticks? Your videos are soooo helpful to me....I absolutely love them. Your makeup is always flawless!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Yeah it's nice that the eyeshadow is buildable.... But who wants to have to use all of the product just to build a nice color? I would rather have something that creases... but it has a beautiful pigment.

Fenty shadow stix are terrible!!! The mattes do not blend at all and will flake and crumble. The shimmers are ok. I was really disappointed as i bought all colors.

How long have you had it and are you putting it over powder cos that will it hard to blend
