Thank you Matt for this great effort. Just in case I didn't mention it: We will print the rules manual, charts & tables with the print of Quatre Bras 1815 / Wartenburg 1813 and will offer them for free. The changes have been the result of many great feedbacks by players who asked for a little bit more detail. And Andrew James made an incredible work by checking all syntax and made some good suggestions on how to better organize some paragraphes.
This is excellent and much needed, particularly given the frustration surrounding the game. Thank you for a comprehensive, even-handed and generous assessment of the state of play (as it were) concerning the rules.
Hopefully a developer and proofreader are employed for the next games in the series. I have a lot of hesitance in supporting on the future after feeling really burned by backing this one and getting a boxed beta experience.
Looking at the rule book I see a list of proofreaders, play tester and a developper. The game is great as is the support of the publisher. I appreciate the effort of living rules and listening to gamers to add some more detail.
