I also enjoy harder hitting machines as well but I also do a lot of black and gray work. It’s just a little longer of a machine than what I would normally use. I’m not to sure if about it at the moment.
Yeah it's very long, still doesn't shade as good as the E50 at 3mm tbh. Great idea on paper but the real life functionality of it is just meh in my oppinion
I think chip is In battery housing not motor housing that’s just the 4 pin plug on back of motor. I’d take it out with them screws lol see what secrets they are hiding in there
Id like to see them expand on this design tbh, maybe something not as long with a bigger screen idk....we sure are spoiled these days when you think about it
I never seen voltage and pwm control together, I guess theoretically it may help with torque control via your current. Helps you get punch at higher voltage when your losing current? Idk but I think either pwm or voltage not both
I messed with it a lil more and it's really only usable at it lowest when it's at C04 at 12 volts. And then it's hitting so darn soft still it's questionable
Hey man I am looking for a 5.0mm stroke and lowest possible voltage wireless machine. Is there any brand that offer such parameters? I am currently using cabled sidewinder on 3-3.5V for my slow stipple work and I am super tired of dealing with the wires. Tried fold pro with 4.2mm stroke and 4.0V which seem "okayish" but it's not perfect. Can you recommend something better?
WOS E70 or E60 would be my suggestion, around 280$. Ambition torped comes with a 5.0 cam. You can also buy an adapter for your sidewinder look for : Nick Jones on Esty they are around 50$
Pulse width modulation (pwm) is not usually desirable for anything. A buck boost constant current control is more efficient. Pwm can be choppy. They do this with 18650 battery powered flashlights. I wouldnt really want a pwm tattoo pen personally. The way pwm works is just like it sounds. It pulses on and off to control the voltage level which makes it very choppy in certain things and not very smooth
Yeah I'm sure it sounded good on paper. Maybe its useful for scalps and eyebrows 🤷♂️. I mean it's cool how low and soft it CAN get but yeah I can't think of any uses for it while it's that soft. Maybe tattooing a baby lol
The pulsing is so fast I would be suprised if it was noticeable I use pwm circuits with dc motors all the time though I haven’t tattooed with one in 2 years so I couldn’t tell you if it was noticeable
