EZ Lip vs All Fit Lip: Automotive Lips Review 

Justin, Good review. A few thoughts. Most enthusiasts feel taking the extra time installing the All-Fit Lip for a 10x stronger material, that will far outlast the competitors is well worth the time the first go round. In MOST instances, the installation time from the ez lip to the All-Fit Lip is the exact same amount of installation time. The difference with the All-Fit is no need to constantly remove and replace all the time. With a full lip and an attempt at installing the All-Fit Lip on your vehicle, you would have seen that you do NOT need to cut the V cuts for your vehicle. This is only in very rare instances and is an added tip to conform our material to your vehicle. We also include added installation hardware for the user that wants the extra piece of mind unlike any of the other kits out there. As far as smoothness and appearance, with the All-Fit Lip being a stiffer material, the final result is always a smoother finished look from the All-Fit. There are many pictures online of users who have switched over from the All-Fit Lip and the results are very clear in the smoothness. While many times, both kits achieve a similar look, the piece of mind of protection and elimination of needing to remove the lip for a replacement is virtually not existent with the All-Fit Lip. Unfortunately, many people are in this industry attempting to get free product (you are a few of the exception). With our unique material and unbelievably competitively priced product, we cannot send out free product as weeding out the users just after free product and the users looking to do a review is virtually impossible. You can't beat free, but after a few scrapes and the hassle removing and re-installing free lip after free lip, you may get to a point where a higher quality, stronger lip is worth the extra investment.

To me it sounds like you let the competitor win which send you free samples. Before watching your Vid i was more to give EZLip Pro a try - now i will definitely buy a All Fit Lip because of the stiffness of the material and the durability of the product.

Justin liked the EZ lip because he was denied by All Fit by not sending him their product. The purpose of a lip protector is to protect your bumper. So how would EZ Lip protect if it easily rips off? Durability=Protection

Quality and durability are way more important than ease of installation. One quality installation vs several replacement installations makes more sense.

Just an FYI, lips actually have an aerodynamic use as well on performance cars and a very soft lip will not hold up to aero forces as well and can lose their functionality.

you guys are all getting ripped off check out frost kings garage door bottom seal or just head up to your local hardware store and look for garage door seal and you will find the same type of product with no tape of course but you get 16 feet for only 9 bucks go buy 3m tape for 5 and you got the same thing did my whole car for 16 bucks

i just got the all-fit automotive. and i have to say it does not work well. its really regid and does not go around the corners well. i eneded up throwing it away. i jave ordered the ez lip. so we will see

My ez lip lasted about two years before showing wear.

I also feel like the stiffer material of the All Fit can damage your vehicle more if you happen to go over something a curb. Instead of flexing and giving like the ezlip, it will just stay stiff and possible pull your bumper off.

I doubt anyone is buying this to "protect" their bumper. This is purely for aesthetic purposes. I would rather have an easier product to deal with that's half the price of the more "durable" product.

i've used both. all-fit is quality rubber and is far better then EZ lips 100%. EZ lip tore on me :(

ez lip is cheap crap but sticking rolled up rubber or foam on your 20k + vehicle is GHETTO as hell. now just add some chrome tape to the rockers. lol

This is what I have learned from this review: The EZ Lip lives up to its name and makes it easier to install because the material looks and acts a bit flimsy. If you're just looking for PURE aesthetics then this may be an easier option. A major concern I have about the EZ Lip though is the durability; when you are speeding around on the freeway it seems like the EZ lip would just flap around whereas the All Fit Lip has the durability to withstand the extra forces. Even with a "correct" installation there is only SO much force the adhesive can withstand before being ripped off due to wind. I agree with All-Fit Automotive that the piece of mind that my lip wont fly off while driving on the freeway is well worth spending a bit more time and money on. Quality is always KING! You mention to buy the All Fit if you want extra "protection".. lips arent meant for protection.. they're meant for aerodynamic (and looks I guess) purposes. Your car wont be as aerodynamic with a flimsy lip (it would probably actually create more drag). Also, complaining about the lip not coming in colors is very situational because almost every car part you buy will be unpainted because there are 1000's of cars each with different paint colors... If you really want to achieve a paint matched color, then paint it yourself. Personally I enjoy the lip being a separate color. All in all, pretty good review. Seemed a bit biased and sort've ill informed on some parts but this did its job and educated me in deciding which product to purchase! Best regards, p00nski

hmmm, did mine 7 years ago before everyone started doing this and I used a garage door liner, which is what these guys are selling people. liner = $10, 3m tape = $5. don't pay $30-$40 for this garbage. check online for diy

that all fit lip is bs, i bought one and went straight to the trash, dont buy this crap.
