@@arabstan August 11 I think. On the link Em shared, he was the first one who saw Ez and with Up Down he shared it to Dre and after watching, both of them wanted to work with him on the spot. Then they signed him on 3 labels - Shady/Aftermath/Interscope, only 50 Cent signed on all 3 (or at least one of the few who did). They saw something in Ez, the write-up was nice and it seems that it got Em and Dre excited to work on some material which is good for the fans.
The beat is no joke, and he lyrically is memorable, he comes off as different at least, because social media the way it is these days has EVERYONE doing the exact same thing, the exact same way, for formula for record labels, to not daring to want to be authentic. This guy incorporated dancing/breakdancing, with rap and kept it simple in a gymnasium. It was worth watching it and if he continues to BE different, he'll stand out for it and be rewarded. I see why they signed him. Unique.

I'll admit I only got visibility of this when em and Dre signed him. But from watching this video and his past work I can see why. Not much ppl can transition a flow from rap to singing instantly and from listening realest and idk. There's a handful of rappers who could get into a fast flow and most of the greats got that. So to be rapping, singing, dancing and producing his own beats. That's a banger for sure. So in my opinion with em and Dre behind him he will get mad exposure and I think that's the pivot he needed.
I can completely see why he was signed. This dude is ill not only lyrically, but he can dance his ass off too. His hooks are catchy, and his originality is refreshing. He's definitely the next big thing, and he couldn't have fallen in better hands. Keep em coming EZ!!
Ez mil be a musical savant (maybe too much, just my opinion though) he plays instruments and dabbles with other genres without looking like a sellout. he got music in his soul and came from a talented family.
People fail to realize that when Em linked Up Down as to why they signed him, he wasn't just talking about the lyrics. He was talking about the showcase of what Ez can do - rap, sing, dance, flow switch, even the beats, directing, editing/vfx. Everything, It's all Ez. Yeah, there are a lot of great rappers out there besides Ez but not a lot of them can do what Ez does.

A lot of my best friends are filipino, even my wife is Filipino, so when Em signed him, I see him everywhere on social media so I thought I'd give him a listen and he's dope.
Growing up, I had No Idea who the singer was for PARTING TIME. All I know is I really loved it cause it sounded so unique, heartfelt and to me, it felt like it was a song of an international band. And when I learned that it’s from a Filipino Rockband called ROCKSTAR, I was shocked and I was even more Impressed . But I was still too young to afford/ know where to buy a casette tape but when I heard it on the radio or when somebody sings it on the karaoke, it made me so Happy even though it’s a sad song. I used to dedicate it to my OFW parents (I wish someday you’ll be back home cause I really miss you darling! Please come Home! 🎶🎶🎶🎸🎸🎸) Fast forward to many years later, Eminem introduced me to Ez Mil through Up Down and I was immediately hooked cause once again, his music sounds unique, heartfelt and reminds me of the Hip Hop that I used to listen to back in the day (prolly cause there’s lyrics in it with a message 😅) but with a modern twist. And Down the Ez Mil Rabbit hole I go. And to my Big Surprise, I learned that I became a really big fan of the SON Of The Lead Vocalist of ROCKSTAR who sang PARTING TIME. Damn! Talk about FULL CIRCLE! I am being hunted by The Sapiera DNA 😅

Like most of us, I am here because if his recent signing with Shady and song with Eminem. I've gotta say, I can't wait to see more from Ez, with or without Em. You can see the creativity and passion already, mixed with good lyrics, an impeccable flow, amazing cadence, a good singing voice AND dance moves. More importantly, you see him and (I'm assuming his friends) having fun and not taking things too serious. Every single one of them had their chance to shine, take part, and were given credit. Surely! But you know, Ez used to be a deathmetal song writer and guitarist, who previously worked with 8 metal bands online. He sometimes do screamo/growling in that genre. Then he shifted to hiphop when he heard Eminem.. he's a hardcore stan. Then he heard Chris Brown where he studied his dance moves.. that's why he can incorporate it on his music. Dude can actually make music to any genre, depending on his mood. So far, his albums ACT 1, Resonances Ep, and DU4LI7Y, you can hear him rap, rock (like aerosmith), growl, pop (like JB) then sing (like Shawn Mendez) in ballad and RnB (like Chris Brown).. just check his catalogue and see what I mean! To add, you can watch his mv directed, edited, and vfx by him. And oh yeah, he does everything in music, from beat to instruments. Shady/aftermath actually signed a monster that can change his form anytime. ☺️🎉

I've been a fan of EM for the longest time since he started his album Infinite in 1996, and more than 2 decades after, when I saw this kid Ezekiel Miller, who is from the Philippines and studied also from Saint Louis when he was younger, migrated to the US then became who is now destined to be the next GOAT in rap game, is pretty amazing! He immediately reminded me of EM, their resemblance, but their style is a bit different of course since rap is evolving, and EZ is a whole new package where he can do sing, dance, rap, edits, etc. EZ and EM are destined to meet each other, it's like it's EM's son that he never had. 😎✌

Well I mossy my @ss to stage and he was rapping, I had no pen, but I had napkins from my drink. He was sweating to I gave them to him, he wiped his forehead and I took them back, placed them in my backpack and gave them to his superfan Kelly. Lol. She was from indiana so I understood why she would have known about him before most... anyway this was around 98 my son was 8 months old...
