Thats because Ezio made this his franchise and his alone. New assassin's come and go, they make inpacts on the story of course. But never will they hold a candle to the legacy of Ezio Auditore da Firenze, he is and always will be the face of Assassin's Creed.

Damn I really love one detail in ac: the red belt, that every assassin has. Baek and Altair have it straight in the center and starting from Ezio they have it on the back
