I thought that looked like a shower/bath mat! Brilliant idea to catch paddle/shoe drips! Thanks so much for making this video; I thought the EZLite10 was the right kayak for me and I'm only partially through your video, but I think I'm convinced. ☺
@@THE-RIVER-RAT Thanks! (And I just subscribed so I can enjoy more of your here's-how-it-really-is paddling experiences! Please keep those awesome tips (e.g., bath/shower mat) coming so newbies like me can learn from you!)
Great to go out for the first time in a new kayak! Seems like it generally does nicely. Congrats again on the new boat. You should be able to do some good pirating on the river and board promising vessels that look like they might be carrying a shipment of rum.
I don't drink However the ice cream boat may get boarded lol I think I have solved the seat problem, I will find out very soon as I'm just sitting in the car about to leave for a paddle.
@@THE-RIVER-RAT By the way there's a RU-vid Premiere from Swedish Air Kayak Day tonight at 7 pm your time (8 pm CEST) if you're interested! It talks about inflatable kayaks / folding kayaks more strategically as well and how this event fits into that.
You certainly were generous the pump you bundled with the x500 is great. The x500 is a bulky beast, that Sea Eagle looks next generation build quality and perfect for exploring inland waters. Now you have 2 great portable boats, wonder which you will use the most?
Got my new pump today lol Yes it's a bloody well-made kayak and found out a handles very well in strong winds that come from nowhere (witch happened to me today) Video coming soon I will be posting a video tomorrow about a book and you may find it interesting !!!
I made a comment about the seat situation but it got deleted. I'm guessing it's because I had a link to an image of the seat that I suggest. Not sure if you still have access to the comment somehow but if you do then there you go. If not let me know and I'll explain without the link or you can allow my link or something I'm not sure. It's just an imgur link to an image of my kayak with the seat.
Thanks but I'm all sorted now. Just added a lumbar support. Unfortunately seat issues is a problem with most kayaks even them that cost's 2 or 3 thousand and more.
