Who in their right mind would not actively try to do everything to not have it happen anywhere they live? Or, if you are a conscientious human being, keep it away from others as well? Change only comes through violence, and I don't necessarily mean physical violence. Birth is painful, as is death. Change is death and birth rolled into one, therefore a violent act. To be reborn there must be pain.
