I associate these guys with freedom and coming of age 😎 but also with reconciling with the trials of adulthood... and the fact that I’m Jewish only makes it easier to dub VW as the grand indie soundtrack to my entire life... when he talking about marking time in five years chunks, I started having a bit of an existential crisis

On my way to school this popped up on the radio and I was genuinely surprised. I listened to the new tracks this morning, just skimming through the radio and this comes up, strange. I've been hearing Vampire Weekend since I was 9 back in 2008. My brother use to download the tracks on Lime Wire and I use to listen to it on there. Bought Modern Vampires of The City back in 2013 when I was entering 8th grade. Vampire Weekend has always been part of my life, I hop this album can help define part of my musical college life. Keep kicking it Ezra!
