There is something really wrong with this girl's head. For her to kill someone and make up this big elaborate lie and then subject herself to a sane exam is beyond insane to me. It really sucks that she killed this young man that seemed to have such a promising future meanwhile she was nothing but a parasite that did nothoing but drain the resources and energy from anyone around her. It seems so unfair. My heart goes out to the family of the victim
It tells you something that it raised the alarm to some of the workers at the coffee shop that she actually *paid* for a coffee, *and* tipped as that was SO unusual for her. She was truly a leech.
The dad joked with a lady next to him as the prosecution was reading Ezra's letters; and the mom's statement... I mean... I guess we are lucky they didn't start a killing spree as a family sport!
She is a narcissist who took advantage of everyone she could and then discarded the one who became a thorn in her thigh . A sociopath with zero conscience and regard for no one but herself . I hope she rots in jail until she is 70 .
I love how the point of putting those photos in a binder was to hide them completely from court tv and yet there’s still a clear shot of one of the print outs as defence is handing it to the judge 🤦♀️
Trying to compare respect for the man murfered to respect for the murderer is just crazy. And defense arguing they agreed to protect his genitalia....ummm yeah being able to show less of the injuries she caused is more beneficial to them not the state 🙄🤦🏻♀️ her and her team disgust me.
Surely, if part of the case is the question of who carved the word 'boy' into her arm (which, presumably, at the very least, she sat still for) the fact that she has previously cut HERSELF would be very relevant? I'm not surprised that the defence's entire case seems to rest on obfuscation and the suppression of evidence. They have insisted that any mention of Ezra's promiscuous behaviour (which goes to motive) is irrelevant. They have slandered the VICTIM. They have even suggested that stabbing someone SIXTEEN TIMES (including in the head and through the scrotum) is somehow attributable to self-defence. They have seemingly passed judgement on a man not wanting to answer his door in his boxer shorts, as if that is somehow WORSE than the cold blooded murderer that they are trying to defend. Dishonest, disgusting and despicable!
She finally admitted to the police that she had scratched “boy’. into her own arm. She first said it was Alex but as soon as they said it was orientated the wrong way she told them she had done it herself. Form all the evidence and interviews I’ve sat through there is no way Alex attacked her. She attacked and killed him many times over. And the parts of his body she stabbed say it all.
They don’t have the facts or the law on their side (the defense) so they go after everyone and everything in hopes to convince just one juror to have doubt. It’s a tough job to be a criminal defense lawyer. Especially with this ding dong!
Yeah. I know they're doing their jobs, but the deliberate misreadings of his journals seems so unethical it almost should be illegal. Hard to think about what it did to his loved ones.
You’re right, it is. Dishonest, disgusting, despicable, deplorable, decadent and downright diabolical. I’ve always thought it morally wrong that in a court of law where one swears to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth is a place where you can slander a murder victim who cannot defend himself and make them out to be the most depraved and cruel of individuals, even though none of it is correct. This trial is doing just that. Look at the Jodi Arias trial where Travis was accused of violence, depravity, paedophilia and heaven knows what else when there was no evidence what so ever of any of these things. Alex’s journals and writing are completely taken out of context. If you have to cover up most of the entry with a piece of paper then you’re hiding something and that’s exactly what the defence did. Constitutionally the defendant has a right to a fair trial but what about the dead victim, they don’t seem to have any rights what so ever. The defence can say whatever they like about them.
Ezra paying attention to the nurse witness testimony vs not doodling is telling. It’s like she loves seeing herself as this poor innocent victim and will only pay attention in court when they are going over something about her. But when it’s not about her, she conveniently needs to doodle to handle the trauma. It’s like she loves replaying this scene of her being a poor victim and that’s why she pays attention to witnesses that go over things that pertain to her assault.
Maybe it’s just me, but having my private diaries read, out of context in court would be a million times more embarrassing and disrespectful than a photo of my vagina being shown in a binder to 12 people
That, and building a case out of thin air that you were a psycho rapist that could only be stopped with 16 knife stabs... I'm guessing that part was worse for his loved ones.
All this concern for her privacy when she brutally took someone’s life ( someone who trusted and cared about her ) is really annoying . So much time wasted to preserve her “ dignity “ when she had no qualms about stabbing the neck of someone who once she called a friend . 😖
That was weird when the defense attorney approached the bench and handed him the pictures. Where's the bailiff? And why did she bring her purse? She looks as if she was just about to walk out.
the grammatically correct way of phrasing it would be "they - are - a psycho killer", if you really wanted to know. no need to be a jerk towards people who use gender neutral pronouns just because Ezra is a loon.
The argument of “if she did it once she could do it again” seems like a pretty fair argument for the state to make… or anyone to make, really. What a weak objection lmao
I do not agree. Those pictures have been already seen by various nurse, detectives, lawyers, judges, assistants... A few more jurors won't change a thing.
The only reason they shouldn’t show it at the time of the argument is because HIS wasn’t shown. Also at this point in the story of the evidence there’s no reason not to believe her story, so it would seem extra gratuitous. But them being in binders also is private so 🤷♀️
It's all evidence. If pictures of someone's 'private areas' provide important evidence for the court to consider, it should, and must, be shown to the jury.
