The ATF taking them out, actually preserves EZs legacy. No one will know truth of the events that occurred. EZ will go down a legend in the Mayan world. He took out not one, but two charter presidents and successfully ousted the Mayan founder.
I didn’t realize that but you’re right. The other charters will likely assume that the ATF killed EZ like all the others. He will be highly revered as a legend who went out fighting.
With all cards on the table. Gilly Coco Angel and Ez were all rats. Also Bishop was a rat because he knew Taza killed Rizz. (Which also makes Taza a rat) the entire Santo Padre chapter was cursed from the beginning.
This. War was the central theme on the Mayans MC, and we all know there might be victors on war, but there are never winners, only death. Thats why Mayans kill each other more than their enemies, their motto is war. Glad Angel made it out alive, though, even when he lost almost everything. I hope Kurt Sutter is able the chance to finish his "Horsemen of the apocalypse" saga.
lets not forget creeper w/ that undercover cop he met at the NA meeting, it may not have been all on him since he didnt know but in a way he did prove she was right spilling a few tnings to her
Bishop was a hypocrite. He knew how Taza killed Rizz and he didn’t care. He knew how Ez killed creeper and suddenly the world is on fire. Bishop only killed Ez to get his president patch back. Glad bishop is dead.
Honestly it's just shitty writing lol. Elgin couldn't make that piece of info about taza work. Taza should've received some sort of punishment just like how in sons they did the fire or knife to that old SOA member. Mayans had its moments but was too patchy. Turned into a true telenovela
A serious roller coaster of emotions, I could definitely feel anxiety once Angel and Ezekiel walked into the templo the atmosphere was different for sure, the way they 'patched' Nestor in felt more like a funeral rather than a wedding. Just like the other comments I agree that it felt like the ending was rushed but still. By the end I hated every single one of them in that room and was very climactic to hear them all getting riddled by the ATF. They were a bit too quick to take out Ezekiel, I know he broke a code that they all live by, but they had to sit back and think how much he has done for the club and how he literally got them to overpower the SOA for once, yet they treated him like he was there to infiltrate the Mayans, although his mission back then was to gathering information on Galindo. I do understand they'd be very pissed about Creeper, but this is the part where you'd sit back and think, I mean - was that all it took to convince Bishop and the rest that Ezekiel was a rat, I honestly wouldn't believe it at the start. Killing Sofia was the most hardest thing to watch, she got killed for absolutely no reason even while watching I was thinking "what happens with Sofia?", I assumed that while the shot was on her that it was Angel that came in there to tell her they had to go and give her the news about Ezekiel but I surprised to see Bottles and he just shoots her dead, I felt really bad for her. Angel escaped death by literally matter of hours if not minutes because the ATF was on their way, so I suppose Ezekiel's death sent him off sooner which pretty much saved Angel's life. Quinn was definitely right about one thing "We're all down for the ride, brother. But you Mayans; you kill each other more than we kill you" Jax didn't get put out so quickly when they found out he was working with the cops, I suppose it kind of shows why Sons of Anarchy outnumber Mayans 3 to 1 as Marcus said once, Mayans are too ruthless on one another while Sons of Anarchy verify what they suspect before they make the move. Surprised to see Marcus survive a another full show in the series. I suppose we can expect the Grim Bastards MC next.
@@alex21390 I was wondering if this would've went another way if he didn't kill Creeper. But then again, inevitable doom that was impending by the ATF was still there. So they all were gonna die regardless.
Creepers old lady wasn’t even his old lady I don’t get that sorry line in the season she literally means nothing in the series other then trying to get beat on the MC
EZ Reyes and Marcus Alvarez will always be the 2 kings. Marcus started the club and EZ made them a full California Patch and took 2 Sons Charters off the map.
If you really think Mayans keeping that patch, I have a bad news for you. Mayan SoA war actually never officially concluded, they just took out the SAMDINO but others are still standing.
@@mr.tobacco1708and samcrow never was part of it. It’s only known by small talk that chibs didn’t want war and He wanted it to be known only samdino wanted war. Chibs tried to keep Jax’s promise.
Jd pardo said he wished the ending would've been instead of ez dying, they locked him up and he became a shot caller for the future legacy of the mayans. That sounds so much better than this Julius caesar telenovela. Writing really went downhill season 4and5. Especially 5. Season 3 was pretty damn good
You could tell ghilly was fucked about this. the whole time he was holding EZ he was looking away as if he didn’t want to see what was taking place and than while EZ was taking his last breathe you could see the disbelief of what just happened
I didn't like Angel much until he tried saving Adelita after that he became my favorite and the only one i wanted to live. Least he got retribution fot EZ when the ATF took out the rest of the club
Well that’s obvious, none of these guys were ever good people man and that goes for all the members of the SOA as well. They’ve all done some horrible evil shit
This was epic, I swear that during the whole season 4 and 5 I was really started to hate what EZ has become and kinda wished for this scene, but daaaamn that was hard to watch.... Especially because they were about to kill Angel too, it made me feel sick to my stomach thinking that Angel may not make it, that was close.
The real fucking rat was Bishop this entire time. Dude let Taza walk knowing that he killed Riz. All to keep his “secret”. Shit, they were probably gay with each other 😂 all jokes aside, EZ did more for the club in his time as Pres, despite what he was. Bishop’s fuck up literally domino effected and caused the war between the Sons, the Mayan Civil War, and everything else in between.
This was disturbing 😢😢😢seeing brothers meshed against each other... and only real brothers know that kind of bond and love 😢😢.. ..The way the club turned on him , not an ounce of hesitation so brutal, I noticed everyone had little remorse on ther face afterwards watchin Angel except Hank who showed nada ...at the end of the day it never pays to be a 🐀..😖 Sofia had to die too , it goes with territory , lying with a snitch ...... sad all round 😢
@@cwp4evashe could’ve known, she could’ve been in on, it she could go tell them more. You can’t take that risk. She was sleeping with a rat which was also your leader so they both know EVERYTHING
I felt worse for Miguel than EZ and Sofia. Since I feel like there was so much they could have done with Miguel only to get a kind of wack final scene. Maybe they could have trimmed some of the Hank+Nailz shit, since in the end it served zero purpose.
One thing I love about Sofia is she always stood by ez even when she knew about the way he lived unlike gabby who also knew but chose to save herself even when she claimed to loved Ez and yet abandoned him, but the real truth Sofia was better for Ez than Gaby with her fake tears
I think the point of this finale was to show that, at the end of the day, biker gangs like the Mayans are scum bags who lie, cheat, steal, and kill. All of them have killed people without showing any remorse, including EZ, so I'm not surprised he was killed. I was actually thinking that the show writers might pull a twist ending, like, EZ was riding or something and that Mexican biker (the one whose gang and prostitutes got attacked in Mexico a few seasons back, where he managed to somehow escape / survive) came out of nowhere and got vengeance on him for what he did years ago.
Sofia wasn’t innocent. And she knew too much about the club & would’ve had an axe to grind for EZ. She was a liability. In the end it didn’t matter. Glad Angel made it. Everyone else got what they had coming.
I don’t get you guys, it only makes sense for Sofia to go too. No loose ends or liabilities, we wouldn’t want another son avenging his father Jax Teller scenario again lol
Yes, they obviously didn’t want any witnesses. Once she knew EZ was gone she would’ve went and told someone and ran her mouth. So, it makes perfect sense that they had her kill too.
If EZ and Sofia got what they deserved (EZ especially), then with that argument, all of those shitbird Mayans got what they deserved as well. Even though Gilly ain't have to go out like that
There was still some un answered questions. If they do make another biker show with in that universe they made. I would like it see it's own like Mayans was.
I mean he didn’t really have a choice EZ just got killed so I probably figured he’d get killed next is he disobeyed an order look how Hank and Gilly ordered Cielo’s death just because she was asking questions.
I just did not get why EZs pregnant girlfriend got executed by the prospect. That was just unnecessary, but then again, EZ killed his ex girlfriend in cold blood and it I remember right, Sophie knew about it and helped him clean up. I’m still confused why the MC would just shoot Sophie.
@@epicsshadesmaster-animatio4398 - Maybe, still was brutal and unnecessary. I mean there’s been rats before but MCs have never went after wives or girlfriends. A visit from Primo could’ve happened and a warning to leave right now would’ve been enough. She knew the rules, she knew what EZ was into. She wouldn’t have talked. If Alvarez was in charge there’s no way he would’ve ordered that.
Because Ez's son would grow strong and seek revenge for his dad. So Might as well end it. Plus the girlfriend was never really for that life. To them she may go to the cops and flip on them.
Ya keep trying to say this lady was innocent..but she was not .She helped Ez clean up alot messes ..remember when he killed Gabby "who was trully innocent". Or did ya just forget about that? She would've been a bad influence on that child anyway.
It has happens watch any biker gang documentary some clubs be on some dirty shit. I remember one club killing off one of their chapters because they were just such drug addict violent menaces to the town
They should have let ex explain why he did it. Bad story telling in my opinion..then to kill a pregnant lady? Dude was going for shock..but it could of been a little better had the club known why he initially did what he did.
Ez deserved it. He was a snitch! & Shout out 2 dude with the AK & glasses. He did that. Great ending! 👋🏾🇲🇽 Sorry I just love when the bad guy wins! 😂😂😂
The point of the show was to show what the Mexicans are like, even if it sounds bad, they kill each other, they attack each other, that's why Manny said that the Aztecs were defeated by the alliance of the Tlaxcalans with the Spanish en 1521, It's the point of the show, in the end everyone deserved that, but EZ was a psychopath who cared about his own, but Bishop knew about Taza and Riz, Gillie was a rat for working with adelita in secret Ibarra's son did want to do it, just like Néstor, but they would not tolerate him talking to cops I always didn't like Hank, but he was the most loyal anyway, they all deserved what happened to them, angel was the only Pure one of all
Nooooooo and that wouldn't of made a difference anyways..she knew too much if Ez wasn't a rat and they knocked him off for whatever reason she would of lived ...Lie with a snitch you die with a snitch 😢
anyone else happy sofia got popped? she left her EX and turned her life to crap over the accidental death of her kid. a tiny bit understandable given the situation. but the solution is to give yourself up to a ruthless killer who is a ticking time bomb, then get excited at accidentally getting pregnant? and this kid stands a better chance than the last one? her EX said it best; "this is what you've become? living in a trailer?" i like how he forgave her and himself, and presented the option for her to live and accept jesus. instead, she chose to be dead inside. and it was presented story wise that she got what she deserved. the sad thing is, it's easy to picture real women in today's world making idiotic decisions like this. also, of course she had to be killed as soon as EZ was. how the hell can you let her live? she would go running to the feds. and if by some miracle she didn't, she would eventually slip and tell family or friends. you don't leave a witness like that. and for those saying they let angel go, lmao. angel was a member, a brother. he knew the rules. he was also a murderer and committed an excess amount of crimes like everyone else. he just wanted to go.
To anybody saying the Mayans didn’t care man all those dudes look heartbroken to me , yoh can see the pain in all of there eyes shit one dude was even crying but it’s the responsibility to fix the problem you brought him in you take him out
