Here's something to believe in!
I played Fire Emblem: Three Houses back when it released and, after allowing my friend to borrow it and subsequently sink hundreds of hours into it over the next few years, I still have yet to finish it since I got it back. Nevertheless, I enjoyed what I did play, and in the time that I had with this game, this piece managed to sink itself into my brain thanks to how catchy it is and how frequently it's encountered.
The aforementioned friend of mine also happens to be a frequent and... interesting commenter on this channel, and it was at his request that I covered this piece. As was the case with the last cover, this one is very energetic and complex, and I didn't want to lessen its effect on listeners by changing too much. I did add some harmonies and an improvisation section, as per usual, but the main change came in the form of a key change at the end of the piece. I made a few attempts at integrating this key change more prominently into the buildup before it, but ultimately, I decided that the silence right before the track's beat drop was a perfect tonal reset point and that a key change really couldn't have been put in a better place than where the song screeches to a halt and the anticipation is at its climax.
As always, I hope that you all enjoy this cover. Thank you for listening!
