Hello! Today I want to share Für Elise kalimba arrangement, the piece by Ludwig van Beethoven. No kidding, this is the most difficult song I've ever performed on my channel for now! I had to do a big job while I was learning it, haha 😂 And I really proud of it 💪 I hope you enjoy this video too! ❤️

This is truly amazing. Years and years ago, I leaned to play this on the piano; it took me six months to learn. I can't begin to imagine how one would play it on such a Kalimba as the your you're using. You really are talented, and this is so beautiful. You have every right to be proud of this. It's quite an accomplishment.

This is lovely....Yes classical music is a lot of work and you can tell you worked very hard at this and it is worth it. When you started the kalimba or when you practice a lot do you ever have thumb issues, not the skin but internal soreness or stiffness? Thanks again

on the front side of the Kalimba is a mandala - you drew it yourself. You play wonderfully. Now all chromatic treble Kalimba Tracey is doing with a pickup. Flat treble chromatic also appeared with a pickup

I love watching your videos. I'm considering buying a kalimba. Is a 2 sided kalimba ideal for a beginner to use? Also, how hard would it be to look for tab sheets for this type of kalimba?

If you can afford it, go for it! I'd rather get a double layer kalimba instead. It's easier to play. As a beginner, you can play the 17 keys with no sharps or flats first until you get used to them, then play the full 34 keys. Finding tabs is super easy. Just follow any kalimba tabs without retuning. You can also use tabs and sheet music for other instruments!

@@MiauMichigan Hah! I'm still getting the hang of my 8 key, but loving it. I've been getting a little frustrated about the lack of sharps and flats so I've been looking into chromatics. The two layers look like they'd be easier to master than the front-back style. I'd be inclined to pull out the redundant keys so the chromatic layer would be more like the black keys on the piano. I've ordered some DIY key and bridge sets, when they get here from China I'm going to do some experimentation with adding chromatics.

Is that kalimba custom made? If not, which model and manifacturer is that? Having 2 sided model seems awesome - you can have it tuned for 2 different usages + combine using both like here)
