Thank you for sharing 🙏🏾I have a question -Last year, I applied twice for a J1 visa to participate in an au pair program in a country where I am not a citizen, and both applications were refused. Now, I am planning to apply for an F1 visa to study in the US and apply in my country of citizenship. Given my prior refusals, what approach should I take during my F1 visa interview to maximize my chances of approval?
Hello please I’ve scheduled my interview date, but I realized I made a mistake with my name. In order to make the correction, do I have to cancel my appointment? Please how do I make the correction? I know I have to make a new MRV payment.

Hi, I need your help. I applied for an F1 visa to the USA, and my interview is in August. The thing is, my sister is in the USA on a B1/B2 visa, and she requested a work permit. It's been 5 months, and she hasn't come back to her home country. Should I tell the officer that I have a relative living in the USA, or should I say that she is on vacation and will come back?
This is something you need to answer truthfully but also should be prepared for how to navigate this. It is important to work directly with a Former Officer on our team so that they can understand the full context of your case to best help you prepare for your interview. You can book a consultation at www.argovisa.com.
The F2 Visa has the highest refusal rate at almost 50%. We highly recommend you work with Argo to come up with a plan that will reduce your risk of refusal.
My twin brother and I have both gotten full tuition scholarships from the same university. I am concerned if his application might impact my visa, as we share the SAME sponsor-our father.
I think it also depends on the deficits remaining I.e. cost of living expenses, insurance, books, etc, and if dad can have proof of sufficient funds.. Mum and dad and other siblings can be family ties.
Your visa record is permanent so you should be prepared to address your prior refusals during your F-1 visa interview. The F-1 interview will vary depending on the reason for your B1/B2 refusal. We can help you figure out what happened and the best path forward for your F-1 interview during an Argo consultation. You can book a session at www.argovisa.com.
Good luck! If you want to work directly with a Former Visa officer before your interview, you can book a consultation on our website at www.argovisa.com.

@@user-cz6sl4hp5r My work experience, why MS now and my previous Us travel. Everyone’s interview is different because it’s a personal interview. Just make sure your story is very clear to yourself first, work on your communication skills and be confident. Your story should in the end convince the officer of your home ties, your academic credibility and your finances. Good luck!
