I had the exact truck as you in the state of Michigan i think the only way i could have had a plow installed on it was to hold them at gunpoint no one would even sell me one. I hope everything thing goes well with your plow rig and everything was a scare tactic
Great job my man! I was glad to get some snow in Chicago myself, got to use my craftsman 2 stage blower for a second time this year, hoepfully we get one or 2 big storms yet before springtime comes
Find an old electric mobility scooter lift on the cheap. They work AWESOME for carrying the snow blower around. Fast and easy removal for job hopping situations.
I’m just getting started up here at 9,000 feet ColoRADo Rockies bro. Put an HTX on my f150. Flat spots are great, easy. But on hill sides and these mountain cabins and homes are a BEOTCH. Half my clients have a driveway on a steep slope. My 150 is about to grow into an F250. Which I’m going hate going from flex fuel to a V10. Yikes man. It’s hard but the money is good and no one messes with you. In my own office all day no boss yelling at me. Although! I work at lot more hours than my boss would’ve given me 😂😂😂isn’t that the way of it. Then it’s back to tree work in summer. I do love snow removal man. I really really do. Good vid buddy.!
I ain’t shoveling sh!t if they don’t come out to move it or park in the garage they don’t get plowed but they do get charged if I had to drive out there for nothing. Gotta put that in the contract man. You’ll learn. I didn’t buy a $7000 v plow pay for all the maintenance to my truck and fuel to shovel someone’s driver that’s hired me to plow.
I have a 2012 F150 I was under the impression that the F150 with the EcoBoost wasn't a good idea to put a plow on them. So I got 2 quick questions for you how is it working out for you and about what was the cost and to have it installed?
Dude shovel first. Know your skill with the plow and push snow away from garage doors etc. Then plow everything, then you aren't moving snow over areas you already cleared. Also plan for the year, your pile placement needs to accommodate for the next storm. Create a pile location with the customer instead of pushing to both sides of their driveway.
If you are still under warranty absolutely disconnect everything dealing with plow. A plow install with your engine is not approved by Ford. Your warranty will be void
Quit shoveling snow. Your gonna be hurt before you know it. Get better with your truck. You won’t have to shovel. Don’t blow. Give him up and plow someone else. By any means Hello. Your welcome 🙏
