Aim120 MAR at low alt is about >10-9nm. Evading these missiles without going cold and ditching chaf is pretty much impossible :D That's what WT has become now, a missile spam game where literally nobody wins :D Thank god I switched to DCS
@@NarutoUzumaki-ej7vw Depends on the server. DCS has large maps where tactics can realistically be employed. Notching, F-poles, ... Good luck pulling that off on the deck in WT at ranges of >15nm.
@@Spectification Notching is far too effective in DCS. I get it is a video game, but those modern missiles do not give a fuck about notching, once they're guiding by their own radar.
@@Spectification do yk where i can find info about the MAR about all the new missiles coming to war thunder? would genuinely help, feels like im the single person to know how to properly fight BVR and WVR engagements when i queue up in simulator and realistic battles
malzi, spiraling is the worst possiel move you could try to dodge missiles. the only time that will ever work is when your in a super fast plane with a low G missile being shot at you, like being in an f104 and someone shoots an early aim9. onyl way you are going to dodge these high G missiles is to flare/chaf and do a hard pull either striaight to the side or to the side and down. never pull upward and only pull one direction dont switch until the missile has passed
Why are you keeping lock after a certain range? When the missile gets close enough it should switch to its on board active seeker, its kind of the entire point of the missile, did they not implement that??
Against heat seeking missiles they do but the missiles Malzi is using are radar guided and need to be countered with a combination of notching and chaff
My man is not even using them right with TWS you can have four different targets soft locked with four different missile locations and guide them all in
