The US Air Force F-22 Raptor Demonstration Team performs their last show of the 2022 airshow season on Sunday at the Aviation Nation airshow at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas, Nevada. This was the final demonstration for several members of the team, including pilot Major Joshua 'Cabo' Gunderson. Stay tuned to the end to watch the exiting team members get hosed down!

what the next thunderbird jet, it possible is F22?

I doubt it, there are too few of them. I expect they'll eventually move on to the F-35, since it's becoming the USAF's mainstay fighter jet. But that won't be before a very, very long time, not before another 20, 30 years I'd wager. EDIT: Here's an article from a decade ago on the topic, back when Lockheed-Martin released concept art of a Thunderbirds F-35

Usually return to being an instructor pilot, gain a higher rank and do some administrative duties.

Thunderbird pilots return to their previous squadron. My cousin was one of the 2 non-demonstration pilots for the Thunderbirds in 2009-2010. He returned to the 421 FS at Hill and retired in 2015. We were stationed together at HIll before I went to Eglin.
