F-22 vs SU-57, Which is Better ? | Ace Combat 7 Comparison 

Sadly, the reputations of both planes are vastly different simply because of the weapons they carry in the game "hey let's give the raptor the super annoying qaam and the su 57 this amazing multipurpose fictional weapon that everyone loves."

If you are a marksman: Su-57 If you want speedkill: F-22

One thing that annoys me a bit about the Su-57 in game is the fact that it carries 4AAM rather than 6AAM. You might be wondering what I’m talking about and if you are, look up the Su-57 weapons bays because those can clearly carry 3 missiles per bay. I suppose that could be seen as a tiny nitpick but 6AAM just feel vastly superior to 4AAM and in many cases even 8AAM for that matter.

If someone asked me do I have a preference, I say I don’t. I really like both planes, they both are similar. Sure, the SU-57 or the “PAK FA” has the laser beams which turns it into an X wing from Star Wars, but it’s all personal preference in the player. Though the PLSL is kind of broken when you master it so technically it is a better plane, but I love both planes and use them often.

I would always go for the SU-57!

One of the biggest things I've noticed in AC7, is the bars foe aircraft stats isn't entirely worth trusting, in this example, the F22 and SU57 have basically the same maneuverability bar, however, the Su57 actually outclassed the F22 in Yaw maneuverability, as well as maneuverability at low speeds, however you wouldn't be able to be told this by the bar because the F22s Average is the same from other aspects

SU-57 with buffed up standard missile (damage upgrade lvl 2, reload speed lvl 2, homing capabilities and highspeed data link antenna misc.) partnered with PLSL is one of the op and probably broken build i've used especially on CQC situations. You can abuse shitload of fast-loading hurtful missiles while firing the PLSL, good luck avoiding that lmao

F-22 for me. Only reason I use the Su-57 in Ace Combat 7 is because of the laser guns. If the game were to allow the option to outfit any plane with any secondary weapon then I'd put the lasers on the F-22

In real life the su-57 has incredible maneuverability and the f22 has unmatched stealth and a classified radar system that’s minimum 20 yrs more advanced than any plane in the world. Probably why America doesn’t sale that plane to any country

I’ve gotten so used to HVAA missiles that I’d prefer the YF23 over both of them. Oh yeah, and the YF23 is superior to both of them irl. F22 is still probably better in game though

The SU-57 and the F-22 are pretty much the same so idk what to say but since I'm an F-22 fan I'd probably say F-22 is better.

The F-22 because of the 2 best accurate weapons the XSDB small diameter smart bomb and the QAAM with insane accuracy, even the AAMs don't have the same accuracy field like the QAAMs. Did anyone know that the QAAMS can be shot at a 90 degrees angle so you can say you can shoot at your enemy that is behind you without looking at him directly, while you are manuvering to avoid giving your enemy an opportunity to lock on to you.

Doesn’t matter. They’d all still lose to the F15 EX. A flying tennis court with more missiles than flares, that can still fly Mach Jesus, shoot down satellites in orbit, and is the only fighter to go 104-0 in fights.

I both probably have post stall recovery manuver but the raptors one works the SU-57s ones works but not till the tail is halfway in water meaning taking about 15% damage on the armour before it's automatic computer navigation kicks in to move it upwards.

So, GPB stands for General Purpose bomb, it’s a 500lb dummy bomb. And the graphic you showed clearly shows the Raptor carrries 2400 round on its gun vs the 800 for the 57.

For everything on statistics in the game f22 is better ignoring the QAAM but it depends on your personal preference

Why did you say QAAM has best lock? From the stats I saw ingame, SAAM has better homing.

Personally, I prefer the Su-57, it's more nimble, and better in psm, the F22 is very good and has QAAM, but the 57 has PLSL. Not to mention SPW Off Lobbies. Both are great, but I'd say the 57 is slightly better.

How did you remove the autostabilisation? I'd love to perform more maneuvers in the air but the auto stabilise is getting in the way of tighter turns and faster ascents

My Xbox one s is having to redownload my game I pray I still have all my aircraft and money I have the F-22 I've beat the game from flying at the end from going through a tunnel for about 50 mph and 3 closing doors and then take out the 5 columns of the antenna and fly to space pretty crazy but it won't allow me to purchase the SU-57 although I have to get SU-30 first to unlock the SU-57.

You cannot say for certain that 1 aircraft is best over the other as both of them have design flaws for example the SU-57 is far less stealthy than the F-22 Raptor and The F-35 lightning II due to the rivets sticking out from the surface of the skin of the aircraft it's not precision engineered like their American counterparts, however the F-22 Raptors flaws are that since it was precision engineered with 1996 vintage technology it is very difficult to upgrade the aircraft with modern computer software plus weapons suite and it's design were compromised due to budget limitations that's why it lacks the IRST and HMD the SU-57 has onboard it's design. Even the Antennas on the Raptor is resurfaced from the skin to preserve its stealth characteristics. The SU-57s Antennas are externally attached by rivets which pings a huge Rader return if detected by a nearby monitoring command and control station.

in my opinion both are great, it really depends on what type of mission it is or what opponents you are facing in muliplayer but if i had to choose i would go for the su 57

Honestly I’d say F-22 raptor is better. The bombs are op, if you can aim the machine gun it’s deadly as hell. With the right parts it’s missiles become a beast. And it already has good maneuverability. Sure the SU-57 is more agile by a bit and has the psl, but the bombs honestly just help with air to ground a lot and air to air combat in both vehicles isn’t a problem. Both machine guns are good if used correctly. If you combine the psl and machine gun and missiles you get devastating damage, but it goes for the bombs as well so ships aren’t a big deal. For air to air machine guns for the F-22 are faster so it’s better imo, and the stealth allows for better anti radar allowing you to stay in combat without the BEEP BEEP. Though the Su-57 hands down is better for air to air let’s be real that PSL is a beast in air to air. For air to ground the raptor wins every single time. Honestly it’s just mainly divided into two things. The F-22 is better cause of bombs, or the Su-57 is better cause of psl, I’d say raptor because, I have good aim with the psl and I use it well, but I still find myself running out of MSL 1 in some extensive missions, which is never a good thing of course

Lets just get to the fact that in REAL life the F 22 stealth has no rival and stand off strike ability, Unlike the game where you have to be so close to get a lock on it is silly ( but fun ) and snail QAAM's, really? The SU -57 like most all Russian aircraft is questionable as they all proclaim such great ability but when opposed show little of their proclamation in real life, but in the game it is remarkable and why does it have a "laser" and the F-22 zip? Those who created the game give a long list of weapons, arms, goods etc, BUT one can not use them on every aircraft, WHY? if you spend X amount to get a laser and faster -longer range- larger hits- etc, BUT then can not use them together and worse NOT on every aircraft you own....seriously , why not? Now I am old , I am not a kid anymore and my poor old hands and eyes are questionable at best, BUT I love the game anyway....😂🤣😂

Air to air is SU-57 and to ground is the F-22. I like the SU 57 because it’s more agile than the F 22 raptor even though it says less it has a extremely high skill base unlike the raptor which a new player could just master it immediately so I could understand why many players like to the F 22 raptor but being honest if you fly the Sue 57 for long enough and muster the lasers then you could be like the XO2 with The rail gun and every ace combat 7 Player who played multiplayer knows how devastating those things are Long story short I am with the SU 57

I don't know if you guys watch DCS but I watch it and I found out that the SU-57 has 1 weakness, that is when it reaches its top speed it loses control over manuverbility and that probably is a key factor that the F-22 Raptor can exploit and pick the SU-57 off from a distance with the AIM 9x Sidewinder block II.

Well, in paper, the SU-57 is more advanced, but in reality, even if the Su-57 is more modern than the F-22, the F-22 has an better performance in dogfights
