You should try flying the F-15E against jamming targets like this. It would be cool to see the radar performance, plus its been a LONG time since its been on the channel :D

As a Canadian and former avionics technician in a CF-18 squadron I always appreciate anything Hornet. So, thanks! Even more crazy, in terms of Canada/China, would be something like what happened last October in 2023. You know, a Canadian Aurora patrol aircraft (P-3 Orion) off the coast of China gets intercepted by Chinese J-10, two-seaters, very distinctive canards, fuel probe, and PL-8 missiles. Tail number 64358 and I'm not kidding. Seriously, that J-10 was 10 to 20 feet from the wingtips of the Aurora where you could actually read the tail number. Now, of course, in typical GS style... Canadian patrol aircraft get intercepted by Chinese J-10. And hiding under a Chinese transport, well, you know, all of a sudden missiles are fired. WTF? Mission accomplished, lol.

It's a shame the F-35s will never look like that. The RAM wouldn't like it... Also a shame that Canada's population is about the same as California's alone. Otherwise we might get to see a couple supercarriers with giant maple leaves on their decks.
well just blew like 400 bucks getting a T.flight hotas one, some pedals, and desk mounts.... absolutely loving it still learning the f18 but holy smokes is this a step up from vtol VR don't get me wrong that game is great but the graphics and full fidelity cockpit on this game in a vr headset is absolutely mind blowing to me. love watching your vids GS!🤣🤣🤣
The DF-21 is an anti-ship ballistic missile. You were correct on each. It has since been developed into a couple other variants, but its original purpose was anti-shipping.
Love that you post the mission link as well on most missions now. That's always the thing that makes me take some breakes off DCS. Creating missions is just so clunky without 3D, and setting up the ai...
Hope the F-35 becomes more fleshed out especially the cockpit and features based on public information. Needs more love on this channel for this kind of operations.

Great vid! Why were your missiles more effective than the flankers? You both shot within the MAR. Is it due to human vs computer or the actual technology of the missiles? Just curious.
hello, I actually was not in the mar, I was 1 mile outside of it. So when I went cold I survived, he did not, he chose to notch it, which he failed, and died for his mistake, if he went cold he probably would also have survived.
In this video and others, GS has used JDAMS. Are they better than Mavericks? Are Mavericks not a thing anymore? They were so great in Falcon 3.0 and 4.0
Out of curiosity, what skins are available on the F/A-18? When i was in the Marine Corps, I went Mirmar to see the Blue Angels for the second time. One display, there was one F/A-18 that and a MARPAT in shades and tints of gray with EGA's throughout the paint job. Thought it was one of the best paint jobs there that day. Anyways, if there's a skin in DCS like that, I'd like to see it on a F/A-18 some time in a mission.
Hi GS, could you set up a Su-34 ground attack mission inside a Patriot envelope without AWACS? I just want to see if you can defend after dropping the payload. You know what situation I'm referring to, it's pretty... weird.
A lone launcher and site isn't necessarily a problem. When you get into S-300s that are on SkyNet and everything in the world is lobbing Mach+ telephone poles at you from 40+miles, THEN it gets difficult.
Fun fact: the HQ-22 missile defense system was sold to Serbia as the FK-3, the export version of it making Serbia's army the first in Europe to use it.
