There is a correction in the E.C of Thorium ......... Here's the trick : starts from protactinium (from 2 onwards don't start from 1) and don't take 5 and 8 ❎❎❎❎ Therefore the order is 2 ,3,4,6,7,7,9,10,11,12,13,14,14 *NB:start this order from protactinium onwards*
Hi Guys,If u did not found correct E.C of Thorium (Th), Neptunium (Np), Plutonium (Pu) from this lecture then see here Thorium -Th - (Rn) 6d2 7s2 Neptunium- NP- (Rn) 5f4 6d1 7s2 Plutonium -Pu - (Rn) 5f6 6d0 7s2 These are According to NCERT. All other E.C in these lecture are correct. Thank you .
If there is no electron in f block in Thorium..how it will become of f block element..google also showed the configuration 6d2 7s2..i think it's wrong..if this configuration is right then thorium should be a d block element not the f block.

Mam the electronic configuration of Th is 5f0 6d2 7s2 and Pu is 5f6 6d0 and 7s2 and you show it is 5f1 6d1 7s2 for Th and 5f5 6d1 7s2 for Pu. Which one is correct bcz I thought student's by following your vedio but I wrote notes from Std books the later one is correct. Pls clear my doubts as soon as possible
