Thank you for inviting me to Strole inside the pathways of your heart. I felt a great sense of tranquility.

The composer challenges string players and piano players to change roles mutually, being also "unable" to avoid supremacy of the keys, as expected ... A fairy-tale analysis by you, Mo Niemczuk, together with your ethery interpretation, took your audience off, once more! We feel so grateful to you for all this enchantment !!!

Moje ulubione preludium Chopina!

Serdecznie pozdrawiam

Many thanks for this. This insight and appreciation brings more depth to a work I have loved for many, many years. I believe certain pieces of music have a life of their own and every time we play them, we keep them alive and they keep us alive, filled with hope and longing. The Prelude No. 15, from Opus 28 is the more famous from the Great 24 but I feel this one is the most profound and intimate. It is a piece of both struggle and contentment. Again, amazing video. Thank you. Dziękuję.

Piękna analiza i wykonanie. Dopiero niedawno odkryłam to preludium, szkoda, że nie jest bardziej znane. Bardzo inspirująco Pan opowiada, teraz będę grać grać grać. Pozdrawiam i dziękuję za piękną muzykę

Thanks again for your unique perspective of this piece as a strut quartet and as a mood instead of a melody. Masterly done!

This prelude is so fascinating, and your lecture too, so I’ve listened to your video several more times now. One extra thorough have now is that while it’s nice of you to show us the part A as the voices of the cello, viola, 2nd and first violin, that helps me a lot, I can’t imagine this music transcribed to a string quartet would sound as good as Chopin had written it for the piano though, even though it’s easier for strings to play long legatos.

My favourite prelude actually, beautifully played. To me it’s like a mini nocturne.

What is your opinion on the pedalling of this piece - I feel that pedalling on each bar blurs some of those chromatic harmonies and sounds muddy? Thanks Greg

It's a good idea to pair, for example, the first and fourth voices: it allows those too who, like me, should study a lot otherwise on the original form, to quickly make a fairly significant performance. 🌿 🎼 🌻

What a coincidence. In the orchestral version I've recommended you in last video, this prelude is played on strings, it sounds really nice, but wish it was played slower. Thank you for your analysis of this masterpiece

So what notes are you playing with the right hand in the broken chords in measures 30 and 31? Are you leaving any notes out? Like the E?

Hey Greg, what is that chord notation called near the end that is similar to a rolling chord? I can’t find it anywhere on the internet
