I don't know how convenient it would be for all of you to try to put something together since Melody is in Georgia, Vinny in California I'm assuming and I'm guessing yourself is in Cali altho I'm just guessing. You guys did AI on Stargazer so I'm thinking you could do the same thing on another collab. Who is that drummer on Stargazer?? She is amazing!! Love the way she pounds the drums. Kinda reminds me somewhat of Tommy Lee in his younger days!! Nightwish used to have a drum pounder like that who quit right after Floor joined the band. His name was something like Jukka.

Norman Voss bass player from Bret Michael's band and Mike Carr aka Dr OMEB ( one man electric band) on guitar are both close friends with liliac and their dad. This collaboration has been 2 years in the making
Melody killed it on Dios parts and the guitar player is a freind of mine Mike CARR AKA DR OMED and the recording part of the song sounds different because the equipment is newer and recording is much better than back then.
I appreciate the older original, but the new equipment and instruments, sound and vocals really bring this up to date! I loved it! And Melody! What can you say! Just gives me chill's! Hello my dear. It's the crazy Oldman. It's hard to believe that this was released my first year of college studying clasical music. I looked at a DIO live version and it set me back. There is absolutely no one that shows more reverence than MeloDia. All the DIO moves and her long tone powerful slow wide vibrato. Of course I've loved Dr OMEB since Country Girl with MeloDia and Vinny Appice. Storming Norman I loved since he wore a Liliac shirt while playing with Brett Michael's. Everyone very solid and the little one on drums, I love her energy. All that being said, I agree with Dr OMEB comments. I'm really losing my patience, I'm old I guess, with people thinking a cover is either better or not. Bands come and go. Bands die. Covers help, as Cousin Brucie used to say, Keeping the music alive! I played with a German rock band while stationed in Frankfurt West Germany in the 80s. We first started with the bands originals. But to get gigs in the clubs, you need to play covers. The artists usally love those songs. Not to out do. Please keep that in mind. Also, my dear, a miracle happened. After nearly 5 years of Championing Liliac, they are coming to Spokane. I bought my tickets for my wife and I with Meet and Greets. It finally happened. I'm looking forward to embarrass my wife, we got married in 1979. Nice reaction. I'm still thinking on this comment . I will tell the whole reason what I think . I , my opinion, the guitar solo was executed perfect but I did not feel it. It was very technical. Obviously he is very talented . I just didn't feel the pain that I did with the original but that's just me. I definitely want to see more @DROMEB. I hope all of you are well . I love the drummer's energy on the song. Now this is a very hard song to do in the first place and there are not alot of people that I've seen, do it justice, but they did for sure and nobody does Dio better than Melo, she is the best and Ronnie would be very proud.
