Οι περισσότεροι γνωρίζουν το Λιστ για τα δεξιοτεχνικά του έργα, όμως έγραψε κάποιες από τις πιο όμορφες μινιατούρες του πιανιστικού ρεπερτορίου. Μερικές από αυτές βρίσκονται στη συλλογή έργων με τίτλο Consolations, δηλαδή παρηγοριές. Εδώ παίζω την πέμπτη, μετά από μια σύντομη εισαγωγή.
Franz Liszt might be best known for his virtuosic works for piano but, besides those, he composed some of the greatest miniatures of the piano repertoire. His Consolations S.172 showcase his mastery of the small form. In this video, I perform the fifth and penultimate Consolation of the collection after a short introduction (in greek; subtitles in english).
