FELIX MENDELSSOHN Songs Without Words Op. 67 No. 3 F minor DAVID KADOUCH piano an encore--May 18, 2012 Colony Theatre Miami Beach, Florida Miami International Piano Festival www.miamipianof...
I heard pretty much all bigwigs play this piece, including Barenboim, but this interpretation is the best! The polyphony is clearer than in any other recording, and it's played with just the right touch of melancholy...
The faces were odd but he played the piece well. It was very clean, better than many of the "best" who rush the important moments. Opus 67. No.2 is one of my favorites by Mendelssohn and I really enjoyed this performance.
An especially poignant melody to hear at this time of universal human follies..............."Cries without tears"...........Leading to the demise of Hong Kong...................June 19th 2020
Shut up. Why comment such a shitty thing? Enjoy the music this brilliant artist is creating. Pianists sometimes really feel the music and it's not your business how they "look".
@@RACHMNV I agree with you. DK is genuinely feeling his musical expression and the gorgeous result can be heard . These remarks about appearance possible stem from a different sort of 'artist' who for want of of such greatness confects a performative emotional display to compensate for banal skill. The difference is obvious.
