ShutterSpit gave it a listen. You got a good voice. Kinda sound like da$h. Your flow and rhyme patterns are pretty intricate. I peeped the multi syllabic rhyme schemes and that shows you actually can spit a bit. But I’m MY OPINION... your lyrics(actual words you’re saying and sentiments you’re expressing) are rather run of the mill. I haven’t really heard an original thought or something I haven’t heard from literally a hundred other rappers in that song. Or even the way you say what you want you could doctor that to where it would be more distinctly you. But I think you’ve got the chops to actually do that and blow some peoples’ minds.
Deondrae Christie I appreciate the real feedback, I’ve been trying to create my own sound without rapping like everyone else, this song is definitely not the best example of my work but it is one of my personal favorites, at least flow wise. So I definitely feel what your saying on the sounding like everyone else shit, that’s why I’ve hesitated on dropping/finishing a lot of my work... I’d rather make REAL music 🙏🏽
