The police are not for hire, because of this bad practice the politicians and the so called prophets have become untouchable. If you hire someone, you more or less are to control some of their action. “If you pay the piper you call the tune”. The police in the interest of public safety can decide on their own will to attend “big” programs to ensure the law and order of the general public. Nobody should be allowed to hire the police.
