In April, a day before my birthday, the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway ran 'The Snowdonian' 2018. This service runs the whole of the Ffestiniog line and then the whole of the Welsh Highland line, starting and ending at Porthmadog. It has been a success over the last few years! This year Linda & Blanche were incharge of the Ffestiniog section and double Garratts on the Welsh Highland (Unfortunatley only being one up until Waunfawr). In the first part we follow Linda and Blanche to Blaenau and then return to Boston lodge where the locos change! Enjoy!
