I stayed up until 3 AM trying to unlock this man, aiming for everything in GX unlocked for my upcoming Graduation Party. 5 hours of nothing but straight, Chapter 1 V-Hard attempts. Hearing this song after conquering that madness made me feel like a champion. It's almost like they knew he'd be the last racer most people get, so they gave him a legendary theme song.
F-Zero GX is without question one of the most difficult games I've ever 100% completed- maybe even the absolutely most difficult one period. It's cool that some people found exploits and ways to unlock the new characters on those rage-inducing chapters, but in 2003 we didn't have those tricks. It was beat the game legitimately, cheat, or find an AX machine which was not easy. I am proud to say that I completed the game 100% legit and without any exploits. My last racer to get was Dai San Gen and I felt like a gaming GOD when I got them.
I came so close to 100% completing F-Zero GX. The only thing I couldn't beat was Chapter 4 or 5 (whichever one was the escape sequence with Jody) so no Digi-Boy for me
The difficulty of unlocking characters in this game actually makes sense to me. Not only do you have to be good at F-Zero, You might literally need to be an Experienced F Zero Racer like Captain Falcon himself to unlock these characters.
@@ShiftyGuy777 also the weird thing is that most ax machines are tailored to be beginner friendly. Which doesn’t make sense considering no beginner worth their salt is going to attempt to unlock most of these. I suppose since they’re arcade exclusives they needed to handle extra well to make up for the lack of precision due to the arcades controls.
I really like this guy, he's like a British Captain Falcon, what more could you ask for? It took a lot of tries to unlock the machine but it really is one of the best, if not the best. I also nominate Phoenix as the second F-Zero rep for the next Smash Bros game.
I wouldn't mind him being simply an echo since the fire-bird moveset would make more sense here than on Falcon. Maybe the next game can make Falcon's fire blue and w can get the anime falcon punch
Seriously, F-zero GX has some of the hardest characters to unlock in video game history. You don't just have to be good at the game to get AX chars, you have to be PROFESSIONAL at the game...
Body (B), Boost (B), Grip (C), Weight (1080) Max top speed at full acceleration: 962 Max top speed at half Accl. and half Max Spd.: 1014 Max top speed at Max Speed: 1050 Boost: 15% 6-7 boosts side note: I was patient enough to unlock all the AX characters... toughest one had to be chapter 7 (The F-Zero Grand Prix). I eventually beat it the "non-snake" way. Later I went on to unlock all the F-Zero pilot vids... and that's when I stopped playing.
i could see people laughing about him having one of the best cars in the game and it being hot pink... i think that the fire stingray really made people respect the pink.
Deathborn, 2 my knowledge, wasn't an AX racer. U earned him by beatin' da last level of da story mode. All da other AX racers, yeah, u earned completin' da missions on Very Hard.
Nintendo Release this game for wii U on the E shop please or better yet make a new F Zero ( A real Sequel) or HD this one like wind wake"r . I never had a GameCube but I definitely want to play it i mean i got F Zero X on wii u all i had to do is download it .
I beat all the cups on Master difficulty and all the Chapters on Very Hard >_>. Takes alot of sweat,tears, ad willpower, but you can get it eventually.
well captian falcon is a title if a captian falcon dies he annonces a new one to be the Falcon thats why so many people say that captian falcon never dies

lol i had a gamshark at the time i had this game so i used that. but i had that on a seperate memory card so i can have everything and see what everything was like. plus so all my friends have a wide selection of pilots besides the first couple rows. but when i worked for it i had all but deathbourn. :/
a.k.a Dakou, with this method you can reach to very high lvl of speed (about 3000 km/h with some vehicules). To Dakou : Push A and with a timing : Left + L and then Right + R. Begin with some vehicules like blackshadow or the FatShark. Search on youtube, there's some Tuto "how to dakou".
@Rdude60 just beat it on hard today next up very hard thx for help though i didn't pay much attention to it at the time, i guess it just comes down to luck

@MikeArcade07 The thing about GX/AX Sega did most of the development, Nintendo just published it and made sure it was a playable game. As for on the 3DS or Wii U, it needs to happen simply because F-Zero was made for online play XD. Or at least LAN like mario kart double dash had.
@@joshuataylor7443 He has a balanced Machine, similar to the blue falcon but not stat wise. And his machine when in boost mode if you ever noticed, the wings go in and out.
At this point I have done all story missions on very hard except the last 3, and they're done on hard. Without hacks or cheating and that includes snaking. Last 3 are god awful though. Damn it Pink Spider, Bunny Flash and Groovy Taxi, why do you evade me so!!!!!!!!
I woul like to walk down the street in his costume, and do heroic deeds; helping an old lady cross the street, assisting a fireman in retrieving a cat from a tree, single-handedly destroying an invading country. You know, the usual stuff.
You have to make a game plan on which of those orange things you must collect each lap.. and in the same time you have to make sure you hit just about every zipper, and boost as much as you can, especially in the last lap.,
funnily enough, he was the first AX racer I ever unlocked. I know the rest of the storyline should've been easier after I unlocked him.. but I'm still stuck on mission bloody seven :S

Hah. Just keep enjoying the game while you still have things to unlock. I've beaten it all except for a couple of developer ghosts, and... honestly, I'm bored of it now. I wish I wasn't, because it's still amazingly fun! But I've got nothing more to unlock, so I feel like I have no reason to play...
