Big Pimpin! I always get nervous when jobs go to easy. Kind of funny how we think that way. Riding the struggle bus seems normal when fixing things. My Monogram ZISS420DNBSS side by side wasn't vending ice. I opened the door and bam all the ice came out. This has an ice bucket with an auger. The spout in the door got clogged with ice so the ice from the tray had no where to go. It took me a couple minutes to realize how this all worked and nothing mechanical was wrong. The interesting thing was I saw 2 different G.E. ice makers that had an on/off switch but in different spots. Mine doesn't have an on/off switch. This has never been modified from the factory. Maybe the ice level arm is how you shut production off? Maybe some double secret code on the ice/water control on the door? I would like to see some front loader and dishwasher repairs. Thanks!

@@scotts4125 yes I get nervous when things go smooth. Yeah the lever should be what shuts off that Icenaker. I believe. I been hoping some front loads come in for repair. I like them. Fun to work on. I will definitely make some videos on them and dishwashers too

it was probably overloaded to many times took out the plastic splines, that should of been made of cast metal like a unit i worked on in the past i think it is a older maytag had a cast metal basket hub, those never wore out... i just work on one of them 3 weeks ago not sure the model...

@@johncasor9698 yes sir. Definitely overloaded. they do have a cast metal one with a spanner nut that will work on these. But they are quite soft just like the plastic ones. Sometime I use them but it depends on the shape of the splines. If they are in decent shape I just use the plastic one.

It was interesting to see how you diagnosed and repaired the machine. Have you repaired the small, portable washers such as Magic Chef 0.9 cu ft?

@@mytrueserenity5666 thank you. I don’t see many of them actually. Mainly just the larger units. If I get a smaller one in I’ll do a diagnostic video on it and see what it does 👍
