Commentary more disappointed in Hamilton losing out than Raikkonen winning. Shame, you’d imagine smtg more cathartic given Kimi’s rough luck in 2003/2005 but I was happy to watch him get crowned finally
The commentary in 2007, and the Hamilton father love fest after races. Spoilt this season for me. It was embarrassing. Of course we appreciate hamiltons greatness but i was too much. Great rookie season but that was the era of 1000s kms of testing.
The MP4-20 was easily the fastest car but very unreliable Raikkonen was untouchable and it really suited his driving style the car was brilliant over kerbs to.
The way Lewis & Mclaren choked this championship. Not complaining though as a Finn. Kimi's comeback was legendary. 17 points down with two races left during an era where only 10 points were awarded to the winner
There was no other driver in the world who deserved the Championship more than Raikkonen. He'd have at least two more if the McLaren reliability didn't let him down 2003 and 2005. Although he won with Ferrari he was never again the same driver after his McLaren years when he was a BEAST.
Hamilton didn’t need to fight Alonso early on he went way too deep in turn 4 crazy move! Should of just followed him through but his engine cut out anyway.
You have to question McLaren’s decision to keep Hamilton out on worn out tyres, if they brought him in laps earlier he would have got back out and scored 5 or 6 points like James Allen said. Stupid decision McLaren blew his title chance in 2007 Hamilton should of just come in anyway.
Alonso did the best job he could he said he tried to stay with the Ferrari's but they were to fast. They had to let Raikkonen take the lead from Massa at the Pit Stops so Raikkonen could win the Championship.
Part of me is glad Hamilton lost the Championship so Kimi could win it. I would have Preferred Raikkonen to win the Championship at McLaren because I was a big Mcalren fan.
Hamilton didn’t need to fight Alonso it was a banzai move broke far to late went for the outside he wasn’t going to pass Alonso there or slow the car down he went way to deep very wide.
What a shame for Mark Webber a very unlucky driver! Red Bull had poor Reliability that season and he had very poor reliability with Williams the year before.
I'm a bit surprised that no one mentioned about what happened to Lewis early on... it was rumored at the timed that McLaren did on purpose because of the espionage scandal they were involved in. By "giving" the championship to Ferrari they sort of alleviated the tension and higher fines!!
