One of the best F1 games, they should bring young drivers test back, being able to join any team just like that is a bit unrealistic tbh.

I literally just bought this game on steam yesterday and returned it after about 30 minutes XD I started on f1 2017 and have been spoiled since. One of the best years of F1 but man I couldn't get a good grip on the game...

I actually bought it a few days before Christmas for 1,24€. It was worth it and I play it a lot. I have a lot of other F1 games (2013,2016,2019) and 2012 is still my favourite. The field was so close back then.

This is the first F1 game I ever played and I remember the young driver test was how I got decent at these games

Ive played f1 games since ps1 lol..and the 2012 version is my best too..its so realistic and racing in car as the driver would see the race is awesome and challenging..either that view or the one just above the drivers head..also love the red bull cars hehe..they drive so smooth yet brutal exeleration and sounds that gives me chicken skin..these cars also handle the way one would expect a car to handle with realistic downforce..love 2012 and still play it to this day..peace ✌

Maldonado was quick back in 2012. He won the Spanish GP and podiumed a couple of times. Think he also qualified on front row couple of times too. Didn’t stop him being CRASHDONADO admittedly. But he was pretty quick.

Ah, good old F1 2012. This is still one of my favourite F1 games. I miss it so much... 😀😀 It was a shame the paddock from F1 2010 and 2011 wasn’t in the game but it had very simple menus, lots of game modes and the only stable multiplayer that I know of other than F1 2010. Also, the pad and wheel were pretty much equal in terms of which device was quicker and the career mode had a season by season tiering system to spice up the pecking order (e.g. teams like Lotus and Mercedes moving up to the top if Red Bull, Ferrari or McLaren have a poor season). The introduction of the Young Driver Test was also good. Only faults I have with the game are that it can get a little bit too easy to race the AI on some occasions (not all) and that the penalty system is way too strict at times. Other than that, a great game overall with plenty to occupy the player with. ( :👍
