Car models from Jerez, sound is shit, penalty system is shit, and this game is 50 Eur on steam... I think 4 or 5 pro modder can make a lot better game than this.

Not only Bianchi crashed, but also former F1 driver Andrea de Cesaris died yesterday in an accident. Not to mention young polish actress who died yesterday losing the fight with cancer... That was one very sad sunday :(
Damn this game man, every year the same problems... They didnt fix the whole pitlane thingy since F1 2010 ( manual pit entry, manaul exit etc) and when car leaves the pitbox it looks so retarded or like a 40 years old game, which apparently can not be fixed :O . And those penalties haha, what on the earth ? Also, AI again seems to be OP in rain conditions, but in dry they drive so bad and they dont fight for The positions( only that Hamilton overtaking was okay ). Hoping for some signs of life in F1 2015 man... Good video though :) .

It would be cool if Codemasters could make the 2000-era with 2000-2005 or 2006 or maby even 2000-2009 in a separate game that is good now on the Next gen.
You got the penalties as you clipped the fronts of Ricciardo on lap 45 and Alonso on lap 46. This caused them both to spin and that's why it gave you the penalties.
Tiametmarduk Do you think they should change the Vinyl's of the cars like McLaren. There isn't no SAP sponsor and the front has been changed. Also Force India won't look the same I was told. These cars are based on the Jerez testing but there ugly and should be changed based on the most recent race.
You did a fairly decent job Tiametmarduk, and you're really good with your F1 racing games here on RU-vid. I don't understand why you had to serve two consecutive drive-throughs here, but this isn't the only F1 game that has those supposed-glitches. I play F1 2011 on my Nintendo 3DS and every now and again, I get hit by a car and I am the one that receives the penalty. In fact, I recall I was racing on this very track in Career mode one time, and on the very first lap in the very first curve, an opposing racer bumped into me and I spun clear into the opposite direction, and I received a Stop/Go penalty because it looked to the stewards that I unfairly blocked cars. But what can you do, right? Regardless, great effort in this demo version!
So much wrong with this game (well, two things). 1. The McLaren shouldn't be that high up the grid at the start and 2) What happened to the lapped cars may now overtake rule?
The collisions with ricciardo and alonso happened with the car behind them....... They backed iff heavily after being "forced" so much to the left...... When they went back to the line, it crashed.
I don't see why Codemasters find it so difficult to add one simple rule into the game, where the lapped cars can unlap themselves during the Safety Car period -_- and yes, they are running TC Full
very interesting race... I think you'll have a really hard time beating the mercedes and winning the championship in career mode, I can only see it happening if you use Red Bull and still not sure, the gap seems huge..
Just a quick question, are you finding this game more difficult to get into than you found getting into 2013? Like yourself I play with no assists etc, to me the AI seem a lot braver they also see to have a LOT more pace, which is always a good thing, is this something you have picked up on at all?
1st penalty i think you touch very slightly ricardo from behind and he lost control. Kinda strange he lost control for such slight collision. 2nd penalty you clearly block left car in a straight. Even if a car have 1 inch on your side in a straight, you most give space. Only on straights. In corners the other car most have a lot more than 1 inch to deserve space. At least is what I think why the game give you penalty. BTW is strange game didn't change as real F1 change in the way to give penalties. Real F1 give penalties when you pit, and is most of the time 5 seconds. If you don't pit, penalty is add in your result. Codemasters don't know this?
If those were two penalties, then they sure do have some bugs to iron out of the game before it officially is released. Not even in F1 2012 were you penalised for those type of overtakes. It must be a glitch. Not sure why the SC came out though, maybe it was for debris on racing line or a car had stopped on the racing line but then started to get going again after the driver CTRL ALT DEL and reset their settings on their steering wheel; talk about realism... It definitely didn't come out for the rain otherwise the race would have continued under SC until the finish.
Please do more 100% Races against A.I. Also try weird things like purposely putting yourself a lap down on your fav track and doing like qualifying laps to come back (doesnt have to be lengend AI)
I kept getting penalties for the same thing too :/ It's like this game is impossible. The Mercs are way overpowered, you go the slightest bit off track and the game stops you, and if you pass on the outside going into a corner you get a bloody penalty
are you serious? ducking into his slipstream when hes almost into the braking zone on the far right of the track when the line into the corner is on the left he would brake earlier anyway so their is no reason to go into his slipstream plus you did not need to as you was already directly behind him sort it out
Any one else noticed how dark that McLaren is? I know in the dark conditions it shouldn't be overly bright but that's got to be some sort of lighting bug

Mate, you don't know why you got 2 penalties? Seriously? If you drive that way in a real race, they'd all kill you. That's more than dirty! You are good, I can tell, but doing what you do in an online champ, people will kick you out. Nice videos though. Cheers
You're running with minimal wing and stiff springs, that's why you're slow in the wet. I'd say that is why the AI is faster not that they have assists on.
I usually hate seeing F1 games footage posted by players but I really enjoyed this one. I don't play this game so could you explain something to me? You were lapped by Rosberg before the safety car but on the restart it looked like you were behind him on the track. Shouldn't you have been made to go round to the back of the pack and unlap yourself during the SC period?
the safety car glitch is in the 2011 game also, i should of been first behind the safty car but i was second as raikkonen was winning but no where to be seen
I had glitch in F1 2013 when safety car is out and A.I comes in for a pit i get DNQ for illegal overtake, and today i was dum dum dum i forgot that you cant overtake cars under yelow flags and got 3 penalty's :-P
can you turn penalty's off because from what your showing it looks to be broken like it was in the 2012 game. if i cant turn them off i probs wont buy the game and wait for 15 cuz from what everyone is showing its very disappointing which sucks cuz code masters are a great bunch of people who work hard. also forzajules hope you get better soon mate
Hey Ben, any tips for driving in heavy rain? I'm on PS3 So can't do any mods. I really suck ass in the heavy rain. Can't get any traction, keep losing rear end on acceleration and so on. I've tried different setups. Best described as driving on slicks on ice. Cheers and keep up the great work
I love F1. I love racing games so why can't I be arsed with F1 on ps3? I've got F1 2010 and only ever did one full race. Mind you. I'm bored with gt6 too. I hope drive club is worth buying a ps4 for.
I think I know why you got the penalties. When you moved to the back of the cars in front to get slipstream and then moved back to the outside you could see on the minimap that there was a car behind you that you maybe turned into. By the way, can you maybe do a 100% race with Marcus Ericsson? :D
I think it was because you were overtaking a car that had lapped you that got you the second penalty. Apart from that it was probably, like you say, a GLITCH.
They changed nothing with the AI, it's the same shit. They can only overtake when they're on the racing line and if they're off it they just panic and back out of the move. Also they don't strange strategy when it starts to rain, in your video Massa stopped for dry tires when you came in for inters and then in the next lap he pitted for inters. What a lazily made game.

Moments of wow this might be a good I.e battle with lewis and then moments of maybe not I.e....2 mystery penalties, 3.7 sec pitstops etc. Granted this is only a preview build.
I think a tribute race for jules is in order in my opinion. He deserves one right now. Obviously he has talent because he scored points in an AWFUL car
I think that when the safety car comes out, the drivers who are a lap behind should be allowed to gain that lap back just like in real life. Hopefully that feature will be added when the game comes out in

Ricciardo tries to go up your inside, backs out of it, and hits magnussen? Maybe that explains it a bit if that did happen, still should not have been a penalty.
I gods idea that CM could have added is pre season practice/testing, to learn the controls, get a good feeling for the game and would just the plan cool. Options?

If split screen is available to you could you please inform me as to what camera views are available to drive in? I found 2013 split screen horrible to drive.
