in the thumbnail a mercedes looks like won the race, or beat some cars at the last lap, as a saw that i considered that mercedes as you, and i started the video with the thing that no matter what will happen you will finish in a good position, and the last lap i knew that you will win as the title and the tumbnail says sorry for the offensive comment but its a bit emberassing to me because your content is really good but you ruin it just a little bit with these annoying things sometimes
Ben you should cease R&D in Singapore and save the resource points for next season. You can then make a lot of upgrades in Bahrain and catch up to the RBs in the performance chart, and then it shouldn't be too hard to win both championships. One more suggestion is to qualify on the softest tyres and NOT ABUSE the tyre wear glitch. The AI don't do that so it's better if you also don't.

Fantastic battle with my favourite driver there! Force India seem to be quicker than Red Bull now yet Max Verstappen still lead the standings after Belgium. 🙂
The AI is actually way faster in transitional weather (Specifically dry to wet.) in qualifying. It's so bad I'm pretty sure it's a bug that hasn't been patched. It's the one thing that can screw up your qualifying if you're generally good at it.
do you think it is possible that lewis got pole the last two races because you didn't make it into Q3. could be a glitch that the Q3 times are estimated then but they don't consider car upgrades. meaning lewis was in a merc(=fastest car without upgrades) and therfore got pole. what do you think about that ?
I didn't understand the strategy behind slowing up to let Ricciardo get well ahead. Don't both cars get DRS off of each other, and if so, can't you use that DRS to generate a faster pace? Multiple cars truly battling slows them up, sure, but 2 cars working together and trading off overtakes in the DRS zones only increases their pace, no?
Chris C As soon as Ricciardo gets in front of me he'll just lift off and let me through again, then when he's behind me he'll act as if he's racing me and try to overtake me again. If I would've let it go on it could've cost me so much time haha
Okay, so this is more of an AI behavior thing than anything else. Had the AI been more realistic either you two could have worked together to accelerate each other or, more likely and probably more acceptable from a rules perspective, he would have just let you through under a blue flag and been done with it. Chris C I don't know if accelerating each other using DRS would really work. Maybe only if the DRS zone is long enough, so that the overtaking car really gets in front. Otherwise the car behind has to lift earlier, and cornering may get compromised.
Yea true good point. I'm new to watching F1 (real life and "sim"), but I think I've seen that before once at least where there's room to just trade back and forth every DRS zone and both guys cooperate for multiple laps in order to increase their pace relative to who's in front or who's behind....I think it was probably an F1 2016 AOR race. Interesting and cool, but yeah I could see it not working as well on certain tracks.
