Starred MediaSoft what lol first off it’s not 60fps or 4K it’s not realistic because his cockpit view is way farther up compared to where you actually sit and he turns into corners wrong and started late not to mention he’s in a Ferrari at the back of the line?
Looks great, just one thing. The driver sits much lower than the view you're running, so if you're going for ultra realism try to lower the cockpit view a few steps. Cheers!
A bit sure, although Hulk is freakishly tall for an F1 driver and not even he sits anywhere close to this high. Take a look at this picture: www.f1fanatic.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/hulk-21.jpg You can see that when he's turning his hand is completely covering his vision (top of hand goes over his visor) If you compare this to the video at for instance 2:08, you can clearly see what I'm on about.
That was amazing. I actually watched the whole race and enjoyed every second of it. I'm guessing you have a steering wheel setup? Which one do you have?
Haha I'm sure you're better than I am at it especially with the wheel you're using. I'm about to get my first rally game for PS4. I'm watching videos now to see if I should get Dirt 4 or WRC 7. Do they have WRC 7 for XBOX? Have you tried it?
Falcon01010101 Yeah just bought it the other day in the sale. Feels a bit weird for me (cars don't feel how they should) Dirt 4 is good, but, if want the best experience of rally on console then dirt rally is the best way to go.

I got addicted to the F1 2014 game a few years back. So addicted I played it day and night til I lost my car, my flat and my wife. I now live in a shack by a railway line with all my belongings in bags. True. But Im looking foreward to getting out of here and setting up in a decent pad so I can get addicted all over again.✌
After growing up on PS2 and PS3, this is not amazing. Compared to other games/sims out there today, this is actually quite disappointing. I still have an appriecation for how far technology has come but this isnt ground breaking.
Get yourself on iRacing or rfactor and stop wasting your time on toy car driving.. I started on iracing almost a year ago, went back on f1 for my weekly league race and pulled into the pits half way through the race, quit out, never looked back..
It’s crazy, in all racing games I can only do cockpit mode now only. All started with f1 2011 , now even forza, GT sport, dirt, etc..can only play cockpit ...except for drive club , that game is just to gorgeous to play in cockpit

sadly there's no actual "no hud", because when someone took fastest lap and changing race strategy, the hud appears instead of pit crew asking what changes to do
What kind of racing wheel are you using? Thrustmaster or Logitech? This looks as real as it gets. Even the vibrations are spot on. Even the digital telemetry on the steering wheel is working and extremely intricate, even as the wheel is turning the display is working/changing - these graphics are amazing.
I'm using a Thrustmaster (but hoping to upgrade soon to a TS-XW or a fanatec soon). I would like more detailed telemetry on the wheel tbh, I wish I could remove the hud in the bottom right and use the wheel screen to talk the engineer and change stuff on the car.
I think people should buy F1 2017 because F1 2018 will have the Halo which could look weird in cockpit view. I bought it the other day on PS4 for €22 😊
For those who are either new or just aren't that great with racing games, using the other cameras can provide an advantage (for example, the rear, overhead camera helps you see the cars around you better as well as their location on the track). It's not as realistic...but for some, it's just about trying to go as fast as you can and still have fun doing it.
Ikr? i can't believe people playing racing games with the racing line on. Sad how this game didn't carry the good things from previous F1 games, on F1 2015 you can see the grass sticking to the tire better and perform worse until is clean, the driving also feels more simulation on 2015
Been playing racing games for 17 years and I know for a fact that cockpit view has no realism.Has anyone seen a car with 2 steering wheels?Use hood view with FF wheel for most realistic.Then your monitor is your windshield,think about it.
@Humbrian Sung lol you that ignorant? I can upload a video of Potato quality to that is 2fps to RU-vid in 1080p 60fps. Just depends how it was encoded and converted.
Everybody should drive in the cockpit, specially if you are posting a fast time or racing online. However, you have a "wide angle" view which is still an advantage. In "real life" your view should cut off on the sides somewhere in the middle of the front tires. Your mirrors should not be visible but this can be aided by increasing "Look to Apex" in the settings. Also, you are sitting a little high in the seat. The plane of the nose just in front of you should be nearly flat so that its is barely noticeable. Just my 2 cents, you should play as you want. Congrats on the One X by the way.
I find these race games impossible to play. Biggest problem for me is that you don't feel anything your wheels are doing, nor any g-forces. When I am on a track in real life (no quotes) this determines a lot of my driving.
